in my innocent naive youth, i thought i would own all starwars games available for the home consoles and pc. in 1990 it seemed an achievable dream. now it would be a nightmare of nightmarish proportions.
I decided to change "star wars" to 'Smurfs'. it's better this way.

SIO2USB is the best starter option inmo. I hooked mine up to a belkin wireless USB hub so the 600xl does not need to be next to the computer. Works awesome.

Not to confuse our friend raskard42, you are recommending SIO2PC (USB version), not SIO2USB.

i no longer have time or Patience for plot driven games. most of my gaming has to be done in 10-20 minute chucks.

every one stars their collection differently, when i started collecting - i got a red atari catalog (49 games) and decided i would own every game, controller and accessory in the book.
also i have duplicates of my favorite games in case of cart failure (as never happened yet, but i live in fear of it every day)
some others (fujifruit) already posted some must have games, I'd like to add:
