  1. kind of a lot of negativity here.... i think it's a good idea provided you don't get a cart with dead ends or impossible mazes. or a cart that's too easy. This reminds me a bit of Yoda Stories for the PC( a truly awesome game) That game generated random mazes by having separate rooms, and a randomly generated room order. i'm not a programmer so i'm not sure how they did it, but the effect was great. i think they made a version for the game boy that did not have random mazes and was panned critically, i don't know if that was due to a limitation on the gb hardware or a management choice. anyway i think it's a different idea for a vcs game , and anything different should be explored, even if it ultimately dosen't work.
  2. holy cats, that's a good looking game.
  3. Wow...I remember that. I saw it in an arcade when I was younger and every time I would go there nobody was playing it. I used to play this laserdisc game called MACH 3 which was an air combat game, it wasnt all that bad. I also remember a cheezy NFL football game that used real footage of the Raiders and Chiefs if I recall. arcade laser disc games were a strange breed. i guess FMV (full motion video) games seemed like a good idea at the time, they sure LOOKED good. didn't really work for the home consoles though...
  4. This one looks like the store from 'cloak and dagger'
  5. That seems like an odd rule-- first because it's almost unenforceable. The company can tell me not to take money, but if that's what I want to do, what's the harm? Second, it discourages the dealer from getting paid, which discourages future business. that is weird - i'm sure most kids wouldn't understand the risk they were taking.

it's fun, but has the worse flicker of any atari game.
  16. never did any of those seed/wrapping paper/newspaper sales comic book offers - even as a kid it seemed like a scam.
  17. i got stuf - have to clean my closet of dupes
  18. Do you mean "obscure, unmarketable, but good" games/movies? Every game is somebody's favorite game.
  19. elevator action on gb this is so beyond the nes and arcade versions. weapon powerups, some stealth, jumping from floor to floor through open elevator shafts. the shotgun. This is one of my all time favorite games. bionic commando on gb again, better than arcade and nes version. midair swinging, dropping behind people and pumping them full of bullets. playing this game makes me feel like a total badass.
  20. wow this thread takes me back.. also fb3 would be awesome
