I’m quickly discovering I can’t play some games without a trackball. I can’t find anything on EBay except a Wico trackball without any sort of a number pad. Would this work?

Yes! Message me.

Thank you for the reply and tips. I had one back in college. I was taken a back by the prices people are asking. Someone on my local Facebook market place is asking $350 for a 2600.

I’ve been scoping out goodwill, EBay and Etsy. They all get close or surpass $150.00. That’s a little more than I can spend. I want one for $100.00 or less. Is this unreasonable? Are there other places to watch or buy outright?

Thank you guys. I bet it’s a bent pin. How much is one of these things worth? I already have a 2600. I was thinking of storing the Atari (It’s a really nice Sunnyvale heavy 6er) and using the adapter.

Yes. It works. It appears I’m having trouble with the first joystick port. It doesn’t seem to want to go in easily. It also comes right out with the slightest movements.

I’m having trouble getting Yar’s Revenge to work.

Thank you very much!

Hi Guys,
I’m new to the Colecovision. I almost got one in the 80’s but my sister ruined it. Anyways I love the system. Is there a good alternative controller? It doesn’t really feel comfortable in my hands? Also any good home brews and where to get them? I’m surprised Atari Age has a very limited selection.
Thank you!

A few times I used a stiff support like a credit card, or even two, sandwich-style, to keep it from bending. I'm sure others will offer yet different suggestions or maybe make/show a video on the technique.
Thanks for the reply and advice. The ribbon appears to be protected by a front and back sleeve that has seperated.

No switch box. I do have a bit of a rats nest around the tv. If I cleared out all the wires, would that really clear up the picture?

Atari 2600, Colecovision and an O2.

I just got into retro gaming and my screens are all fuzzy regardless of the systems I hookup through a RF adapter. Is there a better way short of getting a tube tv?

Opening up an O2, the ribbon came out. I’ve tried and tried to reinsert it but it won’t go back in. Any suggestions?
