Very nice! I have NEVER seen a 5200 controller so clean and dust free. It's so tight that it almost self-centers, the boot is very snug. the numbers are bright gold..... If not for a few normal-use dings, it would look new the only caveat I see on it, is that the left hand top fire button is spongier than I remember. NOW all I need is a 5200 to plug the new controller, and Adventure II into, and I'll be cookin'! This Best Electronics stick is sharp!!

Ok! It's fantasy land time.... My perfect Redemption would be: built in an E.T. cartridge WITH the label left ON! It would have a 4 -6 foot cord to run to the Fiddy-Too, Oh Oh. On the E.T. Cart. would be a plug for a keyboard connector (2600 or 5200) And a PS2 controller port! It would read analog as analog and it has plenty of buttons for reset, pause, fire, etc! But that's just my dream, if I could engeneer it, I would!!

Sounds great, I'll let 'im know. Thanks, guys!

Hey. I have some burned homebrews on the way I have some label missing games from a thrift store I got years ago. I have the Adventure II limited edition game I have a rebuilt Best-Electronics rebuilt controller on the way. Now all I need is a system!! How much should I pay? All I need is a console (pref. a 2 porter!!!) and power cord! I'm talking with someone here for just a console & hookups. I'm thinking around 30-45 US? Any suggestions?

How much for a set of those FB2 sticks?? Really! How much for a set??
-
OMG!!! is that THE StarCon???? A self centering analog controller! WOW, I wish I could manufacture a million of those, 2-4 for everybody.
-
LOL! C'mon Lord Helmet, now you're just pandering to them. You'd lose a lot of cred if you did that. From what I've seen and bought. 15 homebrews for Colecovision, Vectrex, 2600, 7800, 5200, and the DS thingy that'll let me run homebrews! I have gotten in on 2-3 limited editions, both of them were 100+ total NONE were as sweet as Adventure II What will the next great homebrew? That new Keystone Kapers clone looks good.....

Thanks! I noticed that the box wasn't sealed, and you had made a point to say that the AA sticker on the hints envelope is re-sealable. I hope that encouraged a LOT of people to play. I had to borrow a 5200 from a friend, and buy a controller myself to play! My God, it was worth it, it's no Zelda, but it's an incredible game though!!

Oh, and not a Venture II set that what 10 were made, or Kevtris, etc.... An edition that fans here can realistically get!
-
Albert, First and foremost I like the work that you are doing here. I have bought many homebrews, and will in the future. Heck I've even sold/traded stuff with members here and never had problem one. But. I have to ask. Does it bother you that out of the 250 (or 251, if you numbered them from 0!) deluxe edition Adventure II games, that realistically less than half will be played, or even opened? You put a lot of blood, sweat and tears, not to mention elbow grease into making, packaging, and mailing these out. Just curious. A fan, Christiaan

Try igg1na he is on the forums and has a load of FB2 sticks, and FB2's and FB2 motherboards. Recommended to deal with cool, will do, thanks!

I will NOT be the one to rain on this parade. just chime in when you find it!!! I'd grab a screenshot, but I had to give my buddy his 5200 back (grrrr!) now I need my own. To those of us that found 'it' WAYYYYY cool!
-
You SUCK!!!! Enjoy it man, you earned it!
-
Show off!!! Mine would have to be my Adventure II limited edition! Come to think of it, it's the ONLY 5200 item that I actually own. So there!
-
Exactly!! This release is the best of the best of the best! I challenge anyone to try to out do this! Really, let's raise the bar on homebrew deluxe packaging. We have all proven that there is a premium market for these. So, just to dream, the 7800 keyboard and software, 7800 Missing in Action, etc... The future looks bright. Gotta wear shades!

How much for a set of those FB2 sticks??

Anyone one to let a set of FB2 joysticks go??

Clear would be nice, now should I leave the RF shielding on, or take it off??? Clear is my 1st chiice, but a brigh almost neon yellow would rock too!!!

You do know that 1x BR isn't equal to 1x DVD, which isn't equal to 1x CD, right? Yes..... But trust me, it's still slow as Christmas! I had 22GB worth of files to copy over, it took a LONG-ASS TIME! next time I do it, I'll time the process!
-
I can put three DVDs worth of video on one disk. I hated to be an early adopter, but Br is actually doing very well right now! And with the new Samsung player that'll do both coming out, I feel confident. UNTIL I got wind of Wal*Fart commissioning a Chinese co. to make a $200 HDDVD player!! I personally do not trade there because of how evil and predatory they are. But 3 out of every 9 DVD movies is bought there, so the devil has influence! The write speeds are low (1X) but 25GB on a disk is still impressive! Last early formats I adopted were: Minidisc over DCC SMS over NES Mac over Windows 7800 over 5200 (Until AII came out, now the game has changed!) and now Br over HDDVD

Small price to pay for not being another lemming. M$ does suck afterall. At least when they launch a new OS, it can burn a CD. Huh?? I can burn BrD's all day long.... As well as DVDs and CD's Launch version. The initial release of OSX was incapable of such advanced operations as DVD playback and CD burning. Hence, many common computing tasks required a reboot into OS9. I was just poking a bit of fun. BrD's? ... If that means what I think it does... you honestly bought a BluRay writer? yup! Yes it does.... got it here: http://fastmac.com/slim_bluray.php It works like a dream! I'm sworn to secrecy as to the software I view movies with but 10.5 should cover it!!!

Bounty Bob Strikes Back, one of the rarer and certainly the most expensive game for the 5200 at this point. ..Al ohhhh... Their being funny!!! You're not REALLY sitting on a case of those are you???

No one will miss a few more Super Breakouts. You're supposed to use Super Breakouts? I heard Albert was working his way through a pallet of sealed BBSBs that he found in a warehouse one day. I considered using that pallet of BBSBs, but the labels aren't the right size.. ..Al I give up, what are BBSBs I tried and don't get it....

Actually, it's de-evolution! If you have to ask, I can't tell you!!

Sorry Boogie Now it can be told. The truth of De-evelution. Duty Now For The Future means buying a redemption in anticipation of needing on in the future. De-evelution is real!
