Just ONE day left. Ahem.... BUMP! -
Tank Command??? Not really my cup of tea! I'm more of IKARI warriors or Commando player. I collect SNK games for my NEO*GEO and got started by collecting ALL SNK tranlations. I lucked into IKARI for both 2600 & 7800 back before I realized they were HTF! Anyone ready to port METAL SLUG to the 7800??? It could handle it. In case you don't know METAL SLUG is like Contra done right!

Yeah yeah yeah....... You made a good point, funny is funny, but this is actually serious! I will still laugh at the label-variation correctors though, they *ARE* funny. -

LOL!!! I know. I've been selling on ebay on and off for 6 years. Just having a little fun with it. I've noticed that here on AA, most PPL seem to have a sence of houmor. -
it's here: http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZdarth_pik...1QQfsooZ1QQrdZ0? Or if the link doesn't work, I'm listed as darth_pikachu (dark sith lord of all Pokemon!) Some old games, a loose Jag game, Tandy 600 (laptop) parts, and some Amiga games. I'll be in and out of the AA forums all day, so I should be able to answer any questions... THX for looking.

wow...... I knew they "Tramiel'ed" everything up, but being a C-64 owner, I'm used to it. I mean everything they did to Atari, they did to Commodore first. but DAMN!!!!!!!

I know the game is crap, but what gives with the label??? This one I saw on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=8212970771 And here's a copy from the AA 2600 DB: http://www.atariage.com/cart_page.html?Sof...ItemTypeID=CART So is it paddles or keyboard, 1986 or 1978, etc......

DUDE!!! I still have a working RCA XL100 13inch. A nice little TV, for bedroom viewing.

Impressive site! unfortunatly most of the prices are in funny money (GBP) BUT.... There is a Net Yaroze system. I played around with one of those about 5 YO and it's an impressive dev. sys.!!

Got the games in and........... you guys are right! ASTEROIDS is fun!! SOOO much better than the 8b or 26k versions. A very pleasant surprise. Dig Dug was too easy! I thought that the arcade was harder, IIRC???? Dark Chambers is fun in a history lesson sort of way. Gauntlet version .0001 DK & DK jr were just as much fun as they always were, I still like the C64 (SID) sound on them better, but TIA handles it ok. I REALLY miss DK 3D, the gas -n- guzzle closed down a few years ago had it. I liked it! PPII was okay at best, but the Vectrex version, with analog stearing spoiled me!! All in all I got a pretty good haul. I'd love a loose Ikari Warriors!! Anyone wanna trade for a GB multi-cart?????
-
SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to all that PM'ed me. I really apprecite it.

I *need* some new games. Being new to the 7800, the world is my oyster. I currently have: Planet Smashers One on One Ms. Pac-Man Ballblazer Winter Games And a buncha 2600 'uns!!! I really want: Galaga Dig Dug Asteroids Pole Position ][ Donkey Kong Donkey Kong Jr. www.myatari.com seems to be about the best that I've found for loose carts. I do not want mint/sealed collector's items. I PLAY my games!! Any suggestions? Anyone got any spairs??

Confused...do you think it's great or horrible? 938310 No!!! It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, etc......

Any Apple/Atari game versions better than the C64?
MaDDuck replied to courtesi's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I had never heard of it until it was brought up here. From what I've read about it, it sounds like a (bad) hack of one of the original Archons. 935362 Nope!!! AIII IS a real EA or release believe it or not! AI is incredible and original AII is an evelotion of AI AIII is ............ (fill in your own colorful metaphor!) -
Impressive!!!! I just LOVE the lively interactions here on AA, that's why I joined in the 1st. place. The CC2 is an awesome feat of engeneering. I personally would not use many of it's features. In Bizarro world, I would have a CC2-lite which is a loaded multicart only possibly with a MMC/SD socket on it, with no high score cart. emu., or any development tools short of a scrollable menu. But we don't live in Bizarro world, and a CC2 is just too big of a financial bite for me right now.

I have a set of the ATARI Euro pads from many years ago, they work SOOOOO much better than the curiously named "pro" controllers!?!?
-
WAYYYYY ahead of you! I babied that cartridge, alchoholed the edge and the female side on the 7800 and still no-go! Next time I'm out thrift-ing, I'll pick up one or two or three....... I enjoyed Crossbow in the arcade as a kid, but I think I'll stear clear of the 7800 port! It looks good, but that sound (OY!)

Very well spoken! I certainly am not trying to stirr up any anomosity in the community! I love both my SCPU enabled, S-vhs hooked up C128D as much as my Composite outputted 7800, heck they share the same TV!! Due to financial straights (cat's leg getting amputated next week!) I must stick by my $100 conviction. PLUS I'd need to get a win-clone to run it as I do all of my computer work on a G5 iMac!!
