  2. Bought Tempest 4k, Fatal Run, and Kombinera. Although was charged for Kombinera, the game acts like it hasn't been purchased, and won't allow download. Opened an Atari ticket, probably be resolved later.

They just can't handle any type of sale. Love my VCS, but they definitely struggle when a sale happens.

  3. After spending more time with BPM Boy, I stand by what I said. $10 game at best. Not enough content. Too simple of a game. Not every game that releases in the store is gonna be a great game. We get excited by games simply just being released in the store, when on another console, most of us wouldn't even think about purchasing it. I do have appreciation for the effort put into the game, but time isn't what makes a game great. Quality and value is, and the value of this game to me is $10. My opinion. You may love the game. It's not a bad game. It's an ok game to me. I was just let down after the anticipation of it for me.

  4. Bottom line: I love the VCS, it does everything I expected and more. It's my favorite new gen console based on its versatility.

How often do you play it? Just about every day.

Favorite game: favorite game from the Atari store is Sigi: A fart for Melusina. Favorite game I've played on it is Cyberpunk 2077 from Steam on GeForce Now.

Most anticipated game: Unsung Warriors and The Spirit of the Samurai.

Game that surprised you most: Sigi: A Fart for Melusina and Black Widow Recharged. Love both games!! Also, Guntech, I finally gave it a chance, and I really enjoy that game as well.

Biggest letdown: Classic Controller. Never use it.

Feature you unexpectedly love: PC Mode, at first I was scared to do any upgrades and put Windows on it. But, I finally upgraded Ram and speed, and this thing runs great now.

Mods you've made/installed: Windows, 16 GB Ram, and 3200 speed.

    Your "Recharged" Wish List: None.

I'd love the VCS even more if it: had more games available in the store. More than half the games available are not anything I'm interested in.

  5. Bought Black Widow Recharged on October 29..order 9863...118 sales in 2 days. I think everyone is buying Black Widow. It's probably my favorite tied with Unsung Heroes or Warriors lol can't remember the name. It's a shame that Atari's sales are so low. I bought Black Widow on Steam at first, but it kept freezing, so I refunded and unhooked windows and went back into VCS mode for the first time in 4 months to purchase Black Widow. Very addicting game.

It would be necessary that the modern controller be recognized as an xbox 360 controller under AtariOS even wireless ... Under Xbox Cloud with chrome under AtariOS I can not use the modern controller it is not recognized even by connecting it with a wire. I am forced to return under W10.

I haven't taken my VCS out of Windows in 3-4 months, I used a PS4 controller with Stadia when I was using Atari OS Chrome.

If you're not using the VCS as a pc then faster ram won't matter.  You would have to get into the Bios and set the clock speed of the ram faster for it to have any effect (If you had, say, 3200 MHz ram instead).  As far as 16 GB capacity in the VCS, It might make a difference in some games or smooth out frame rates etc.  A worthy upgrade if Atari brings some games with higher graphic requirements to the store.

I use it with Windows 10. I haven't used the Atari Console portion in 3 or 4 months. Was just hoping I wasn't wasting my money by adding Ram if it won't help with game performance. Streets of Rage 4 won't even start, it freezes before the title screen. Was hoping that type of issue could be fixed by adding more Ram.

  8. I'm thinking about upgrading the ram to 16. Which ones should I buy, and what will the extra Ram do for it? Im still gonna run windows from the external drive I've been using. I'm nervous about taking the VCS apart, but it looks simple enough.
