  1. I got it recently. It can extend stock Atari XE/XL RAM by 1024 KM, among many other functions. Stereo Pokey emulation is work-in-progress and new firmware will be released. IMO the best choice for stock Atari XE/XL.
  2. Hi all, does somebody know this? Up to level 16 can be chosen to start, but you can reach more. I've heard years ago that it starts over again after 99, but possibly it's urban legend.
  3. Disk magazine Flop 67 has been released. It contains both Czech and English version. It can be downloaded here: http://flop.atariportal.cz/archives/Flop_67.zip Info is here: http://flop.atariportal.cz/index.en.php
  4. I've decided that I'll go through all music of your in the evening and found this post. This is perfect timing, thank you!
  5. Well not sure if I would be able to do this in correct tresholds (I don't have these spaces), however it should be easy to remix my model to put 2 boxes together without need of spacers.
  6. I've used programmer T866II Plus for programming PIC 16F1847. As PIC 16F1847 is not in the list of supported devices, I had to do the following trick: Select PIC16F1827 @DIP18 (different version of this line with less RAM). Disable option "Check ID" in order to force flashing. Adapter works perfectly, it just makes me wondering whether this particular MCU is so uncommon that it was missing in the list...
  7. I've made an enclosure for compact version of the PCB. It is published here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5471806
  8. Hello everybody, I've stock Atari 800 XL connected to TV via RetroTINK 2X-MINI and there is an issue that there is no-signal on HDMI for about a second when video mode is changed. This occurs apparently with demos, COVIDEMO is an example. Do you experience this problem too with RetroTINK 2X-MINI upscaler? Does this happen also with other RetroTINK upscalers (namely latest 5X-Pro)? Would you recommend any other upscaler not having this issue to be used with composite output of stock Atari XE/XL series?
  9. Thank you to everybody, especially to Wraithchild and xxl as I've used their solutions and can run programs on real hardware now with AVG Cart.
  10. I favor AVG Cart at the moment. I also own Sdrive, which can its loader put as low as $500 however most of loaders exceeds $700 so I'm looking for a way how to solve this. Thank you for an example with exomizer. I will try this and let you know what happened.
  11. Well these are binaries converted from tapes using loader "TURBO" which was frequently used in Europe in 80's and 90's. I has allowed higher loading speeds with modified tape drives. Loading address was low on these, and when converted in XEX, it causes problems with most of loaders on real hardware.
  12. Thank you for example, however how can I use this to use my own XEX file? Does exist any tool for this or do I have to use an hexa editor? Sorry for lame questions but I haven't done any programming on Atari 8bit.
  13. Dear all, I have several XEX files that starts at $700 which causes issues with loading on real hardware, as most of loaders don't fit below $700. Would be possible to create boot disk with loader below $700? Does exist any other solution?
