Yea! I just ordered Crazy Balloon and Power Off from the AtariAge Store. Anyone else just order games from the AA store? If so, what did you choose? It is such a hard decision with all the great games available right now. There are as many games in the AA store as I remember in Eckerd Drugs in the early 80's. For anyone that didn't know, you can get Power Off with the BOX which is really cool. Wish there were more homebrews with boxes. Anyone else rather play a homebrew than the old games? I do still play many of the old games I have but I play the homebrews longer.

I still haven't solved this game yet! poo! I remember begging for it and it cost over $30 in a drugstore and I got it home and realized it was totally impossible. I think I was in the 5th grade or so. It was my favorite movie and I thought Harrison Ford was HOT. WAIT he still IS HOT.

In my past experience, schwag isn't so bad! I was just kind of surprised that guy used the term "povs." Here's something kind of funny - I donate to a Sheriff's Boy's Ranch Thrift in a very rural area and once I donated some older stock, but still good, cosmetics. One of the items was an Acne Set. The nice young lads that "worked" at the thrift had to come out and help you unload your car. As I looked back, driving away, I saw one of the guys pocket the Acne Set. His face was covered in cystic acne. I was secretly glad he had the chance to carry that box from my car.

I have ordered from Packrat once and that was within the last 6 months. My order came extremely quickly. I was quite happy. I got a limited boxed Wolfstein VCS. The box blew me away. Looks like their problems were over a year ago. I will certainly buy from Packrat again. LOL I just re-read this and I sound like a 4th grade essay. Video games do destroy the brain, I guess.

It is a good idea. We shall see. fire!fire! is getting a copy for someone else also so it is not a mistake. I would give up my sister's copy so that PressureCooker could have it. It's a birthday gift she doesn't even know about!

Sorry I don't have a good retro-gaming place to see but if you like American Rock and Roll you have to check out Hard Rock Vault. It is a Rock and Roll walk-through "museum". I think it was less than $15 a person to get in and well worth it!

I paid about $10 in 2005 for mine from ebay. I use it all the time. Hope they don't wear out easily!

Yeah I was an Ebay member in 1997 and bought and sold some Beanie Babys. One of them went for as much as a boxed Lost Luggage. You should see the price of Colt Python grips. I mean the original wood grips with the Colt medallions - $100-$160! I don't see the bottom falling out on things like this. However, anything toy-related fluctuates wildly and unpredictably.

So glad! I am about to do my own experiment. I am loaning one of my 2600 consoles to a lady with 3 kids that are 8, 9 and 13. She wants to play Frogger on what she had as a kid and to play with her kids with a joystick she is more familiar with. Can't wait to see if they act the same as your nephew!

Well, you just have all the luck. Idiot me got a keystroke virus last year from a fake Ebay email. It looked totally legit. I reported it to Ebay and then they came back and emailed me a link to an information page on how to avoid virusus. I only answer Ebay messages via My Ebay in the message folder now. I have to tell the sellers because for some reason they try to email me outside of Ebay's messaging center and unless I recognize them by chance I delete them. I am willing to try new security measures and sure hope they work!

I only skimmed the manual, sorry. I looked at all the graphics and design more than reading it. It is a pretty manual. I get impatient and just want to play the game! I don't know what my setting was when I was playing. It is on A right now and I've been playing Threshold. Thanks for the intel! I'll play it more this weekend and check the settings and what game I am playing.

Yes - I got this with the Holiday Sale. Landing on the platform is a cool idea - you can't start shooting anything until you do that. I haven't figured out the refueling thing. I never see the bombs turn green...they stay red and kill me. I think it is a great game and I'm glad I bought it. I'm not high score club material (at least not with video games ) so it's hard for me to say how easy the game is. Seems difficult to me.

I don't feel like I have to have the same thing as anyone else. Everything else is gravy! (and very creative/cool ideas) As long as I get a cart, I am one happy gal! I need to locate my Dr. Who 5 Doctors Picture Disc. I have a Dr. Who picture album somewhere...I'll post a pic if I can find one!
