Hey - thanks for the post! I am certainly going in the next few weeks - you made me really make up my mind. (not an easy task) I really want to play Battlezone and I am hoping it is up and running when I get there! I'll post again after I go...we'll see if it is really great or what. We don't have much for arcades where I am at and getting to play Centipede, Mario Bros and Ms. Pac-man will be very awesome.

Since I live 2-1/2 hours away from Orlando I was thinking about popping over to DisneyQuest...I heard they have quite a few old coin-ops from back in my roller-rink days. I've also heard that some of the old games are in disrepair. And I've heard that they may be closing it in 2008. So - have any of you been there and is it worth the $38 admission?

On a bookshelf, by company. NO way is it in alpha-order. All homebrews are together. They don't stay on the shelf long, tho.

Back in the day I was the only person I knew to have Raiders of the Lost Ark. I'm not saying it is rare just that I bought the only copy they had at Eckerds and my friends at the time never heard of it. Otherwise I got the same ol' games everyone else had.

OH I read some of the post above - about her being really a girl...I have had worse experiences with girl sellers than guys. Especially in Dec & Nov of this past year. I am a girl so I am allowed to say this The most recent evil girl C-word was one that blamed her HUSBAND for packing the item wrong and leaving off the joysticks. I have patiently waited, receiving them a month later. She still has not left me positive feedback for my instant payment. Maybe they should have to list gender so we all know if we are dealing with women.

I just bought from someone a few months ago that has left people negative feedback - all of the neg feedback that she left called her buyers Liars! I just started checking "feedback left for others" before buying - and there are 2 auctions this past month that I did not bid on because they left excessive negative feedback. I hate to be called a liar. That will piss me off before anything else. :!:

At least you have a 7800! I bought Santa Simon and only have 8 2600 consoles. So now I have to buy a 7800 to play the freaking game. What a shame!

Well, I will do a blog on this site when I get my arcade trailer. I have a travel trailer (a little camper) that I am going to restore and make a classic gaming center out of it. I was thinking I would do a blog of my progress with the trailer. Since I am a total dumb-ass with tools and fixing stuff I thought it would be entertaining to document....

Is Toyshop Trouble still available? It says available until 1/15/07 but it is still in the store....my sister was thinking of ordering one and did not get it by Monday. I tried to impress the urgency of the situation...

I am a really paranoid person. I'm not proud of it but I know myself. I just would never, ever meet anyone that is a stranger via ebay or anything like that. I live way out in the country and when a strange, uninvited car drives up, I go to the door with my 20-gauge shotgun. I am not kidding. Also I have a PO Box on my driver's license so if I leave it in a bar or something, no one can seek me out too easily. I'm not saying to run out and get a shotgun, but don't arrange to meet people like that!!!! I am totally freaked out by that idea.

I don't really care that much for boxes on games unless it is a good deal - as far as old games are concerned. I love boxed homebrews. The Wolfstein VCS box is brilliant and the Haunted Adventure Trilogy box is also extremely well done. I strongly encourage purchasing those.

I accidentally mixed up some of my games. I was disappointed in myself for being stupid, at first. But then it really isn't that big a deal. I do have my original system and joysticks separate, tho. Since I have 8 2600 colsoles (YIKES) I do have a lot sitting around. My original system sits in a black Atari logo hard case - the best case I have. I play on a Heavy 6-er that I got on ebay. Hate to say it but the cats knocked my 4-switch out of the game console....the heavy 6-er is more stable. It can withstand more abuse. dang cats

Yes - I am open to financial involvement. I am not going to build carts, tho. I'm not that gifted. I would pay more for colored carts to cover the cost, or buy a certain amount, or be involved in a buy-in.

I'll play the lottery until I win and I will buy 1,000 blue carts and send them to AA. I was trying to think of how a lot of us can pool our funds and make a bulk purchase but now that I am not smoking anything weird, that does not sound very feasible. Granted, all weekend I had these great plans.....

Yes, opinions are like assholes, and everyone's got one. I am just glad I do not rely on Ebay for supporting myself. Granted I rely on DOCTORS and they can be worse.
