  1. As a seller, a good person to deal with is the person that pays for the item right away. I have left positive feedback when payment is made - same day - on my auctions. I email in thanks for the payment and that the item is being shipped on ___ date. When they get the item, they leave me feedback. Granted I am not a Power Seller, but I do have 100% feedback with a total of 226. And I have 8 sellers in the last 60 days that have not left me any feedback even though I pay within a few days and I have left every one of them positive feedback. So clearly the bitter, cynical approach of withholding feedback annoys me. But not too much. I don't care to have a high number of feedbacks left - as long as it stays 100% I am happy!
  2. Exactly as I feel to the letter. Exactly as I do business. I have so many sellers that have not left me feedback of payment received when I paid the same day. 2 of those sellers say that the items I bought were "lost in the mail." They were both under $5 and I can accept that...but the sellers never left me feedback. I am afraid to complain about the missing items, I guess they are not worth it. My last question to one seller was answered with "you know the mail is slow this time of year!" No "sorry" or "let me know when you get it" etc. Then there is the lady that left half my order out and has yet to ship the rest. She has not left me feedback either. OH and the person that shipped both my items to the wrong address. It took 3 weeks to get here - sent priority - and that person has not responded to my asking when it was sent, and then telling them that I got one out of 2 boxes with the wrong address....finally the 2nd box came but never an answer to any emails and no feedback for my same day payment. I think we take a risk buying from the "estate sale" and "garage sale" people. I have been watching for deals in the stores or sticking with Power Sellers and have much better experiences with them. OH and with AA. So far my dealings here with Homebrew authors, the AA store and other members have been awesome.
  3. I got Hunchy 2 also and been playing a lot of it. The game has a really addictive rhythm. I would like to see a MacGyver game..is that close enough to Henry Winkler/ Fonz?
  4. Yeah I have mostly played Pirate. I like that there's no time limit and I can watch the games that are on and play. Been trying to develop a strategy for not getting lost. Seems pretty well-organized and intuitive once you get several games under your belt. I haven't figured out the "other" game - or located it. I'm pretty dense, tho, so that's OK.
  5. Glad I ordered this game, it has been really fun. I didn't know what to expect by the description...I never played the Arcade version of Phantom II.
  6. I have a butt-load of Donkey Kong carts I can send in. I wore that game out when I was 10. Tired of it. (don't flame me! )
  7. About a month ago I got a Heavy Sixer with 55 games, numerous joysticks including 2 CX-10s and a game center with lid for about $45+ including shipping. I was amazed when it got here that there was an Arcadia supercharger and a cassette game that was not listed. There were manuals and all paperwork for the system and all the games, even the supercharger paperwork. I also got a load of about 20 games including Pengo and a bunch of games that I didn't have. Can't remember how much that one was, tho. But it was a good deal.
  8. Good for you for complaining. When I complained about the fake email that got me the virus - which linked to a current auction no less, they sent me back an email on how to avoid viruses.
  9. I am mad at Ebay also. Sellers don't use the message system in ebay and I don't trust the emails sent to my actual address because I got a keystroke virus last year from a fake ebay email. Anyone else want to vent?
  10. #2. Something tells me that the holiday sale was more popular than usual this year. I dunno - in 2004 my Holiday Qb is #28. in 2005 my RR is #213! I was surprised when I got such a big number. A lot of RR sold! I think in 2004 Qb was available just after Thanksgiving...and I ordered RR at the end of the year - I think 12/29.
  11. True colors? I am overweight and ugly. If I really meant what I said, I would have to kill myself. I took the existing negative comment(s) about fat people and magnified them to show how evil that kind of thinking is. Many people feel all puffed up and self-important because they no longer say racist things, but they still feel it's OK to attack other groups in a similar way. I think it was necessary and if you don't like the flavor of my post, stop licking the monitor. I never, ever quote you because your comments make me cringe. Just after I cringe twice, I laugh, nervously. Keep up the good work. That was a pretty scathing post, tho.
  12. I just got the Space Battle cart from AA today and that is the best-looking manual I've ever seen. I looked at all the pages without reading them first, just to look at the layout. I got the cart in Red, which shows off the labels. Good job!
  13. Is it possible to bring back the blue carts by a grassroots effort? Or have I had too much beer already? Edit - GoSub would look really cool in blue....
  14. Mine is #37. I just got it today, shipped 1/10/07. Very fast shipping! I ordered the games the very morning (early) that the sale went on. Or at least the minute I saw that the website was down for adding the new items.. I checked back all nite until I fell asleep from exhaustion and got up and ordered at 7:30am the next day. But I tend to be a leetle fanatical about my hobbies. I am supposed to be cleaning house today for company tomorrow. We are going to be shooting in the back yard. I am normally not like this but I want to cancel the ATF party (LOL) and just play my new games.
  15. POO. I wish I would have bought more in blue! I just started making more money last year and have had the opportunity to buy homebrews from AA and I go back and Fall Down is not in the blue & red cart! Space Battle and Lady Bug look really great in red, tho. Phantom II would have been cool in blue! Thanks for answering my question. Guess I thought carts grew on trees. Bummer they don't. But then they would be green.....HEY....
  16. I got my order with Toyshop Trouble, Phantom II, ET Book Cart, Blip Football, Space Battle and Lady Bug. And the free CD. After reading all the posts that people were getting their orders, I went on faith and drove the one hour round trip route to the post office. I thought I may be disappointed so I brought my camera to take pictures of Gainesville on the day were are celebrating the BCS win. My carts were there! WOO-HOO! Thanks, Al. I was so happy to see my order that I forgot to stop and get a BCS t-shirt on the way home. I got beer and my AA carts, tho.
  17. Crap. I probably should have braved the college kids and gone to the post office. I though about having it shipped here but I worry my Dog would carry it off. She likes to rearrange things in my yard and bring me everything from the neighbor's yards.
  18. Hi. I miss the option to buy carts in blue. Why are there no blue carts available? When will they return? I bought Swoops in blue and it is neat-looking.
  19. Toyshop Trouble does have great music but for my money, the creme de la creme of VCS music is Paul Slocum's stuff on Thrust+, Marble Craze and A-VCS-tec Challenge. I just got A-VCS-Tec Challenge and while I like the game a lot, I'm entranced by the end music. Paul Slocum is a genius. Don't forget Gunfight. I know, if I talk about that game one more time I will probably be flamed.... But I laugh every time we power it up.
  20. Look in the AA store. It is a new Homebrew for the 2600 that's only available until Monday. Every year they put out a Holiday cart and that is this year's effort. You need to order it right now along with Phantom/Pirate!
  21. The site says mine shipped on 1/10/07. I don't know if it would be at the post office today or not - maybe it is too soon. I hate to drive all the way in town for it (a 30 minute drive) and not have it be there! Can't wait to get the game, though! I appreciate all the hard work that went into creating the game. I got the free copy and today I am placing another order and buying an additional copy for a Christmas gift for next year. The same with Santa Simon. I don't have a 7800 but I am sure I will get one someday. Hate to miss out on that game just because I don't have the system. Edited - I just remembered my post office is on UF Campus. So I am NOT going to look for the game today. All the Gator BCS Champs festivities are going on right now and it will be an orange and blue mad-house. YIKES
  22. I think it would be really funny. Not sure if the bakery folks will know what Atari is. Kind of sounds like a neat ethnic name.
  23. One too many shotglasses is why people end up in AA in the first place WP OH shit.
  24. If they can't get a programmer to do a 30th Anniversary cart (or enough people to buy one) then maybe they can make a commemorative shot glass. Hey - if they had AA shotglasses I would sure buy one...hmmmmmmm
