is there any way of fixing the color/bw switch on a six switcher woody? when opting for color, my console stays b/w and blinks...i've tried several carts...am i missing something or is my atari fecked? any help appreciated...

i do know that. however, my qualm is that the one i got yesterday is a 'light' woody sixer with the sunnyvale address on both the unit and the box. it's got a few people stumped because they've only seen the 'heavy' sixer with the califonian address. is this uncommon?

hi all, i'm a newbie to the boards, but not to game collecting. Atari has always been a staple part of my gaming diet and i love it. however, i don't know that much about atari. i had a decent find the yesterday, and am interested in finding what's up with a sixer i found. i post occasionally at digital press and i can't get that much help from there about this particular console. here's the link to the thread i posted... http://www.digitpress.com/index2.htm my topic is called 'help needed to identify a heavy sixer' in the main forum....it won't let me link it straight to my thread... anyway, one of the guys there linked me here, so naturally i thought i'd ask about it here seeing that this forum specialises in atari. please, any help will be appreciated. also, i have an Aussie 'futuretronics' catalogue if anyone here wants a scan thanks in advance, john
