  1. Iratus is free on gog today. Pretty good turn based tactical game https://www.gog.com/#giveaway
  2. I can't remember if I played that one or not lol. I know I played the first one that came out so I guess I need to download it and play it sometime, I heard a lot of other people saying the same thing.
  3. Epic has been shoveling free games out this month like crazy..... The Tomb Raider Reboot Trilogy is now free: https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/sales-and-specials/holiday-sale
  4. Dragon Age Inquisition - I got a new machine this year lost some saves so I figured I'd make another canon run in this, it's a slog fest but now I have a save in case Dragon Age 4 is any good. Ziggurat - a Heretic clone, I thought it was pretty cool, I'm a fan of Heretic\Doom\Hexen and any 90’s style shooters. Space Invaders Extreme – cool music Platypus – quirky claymation “shmup” also released on PSP ages ago. Technically I didn't beat it but I can't get past the 2nd to final level. So I consider it beaten
  5. Thanks for the heads up I had this on my wishlist for a while
  6. Rayman Origins is free: https://register.ubisoft.com/rayman-origins/en-GB
  7. Cave Story's Secret Santa (free everywhere I think...even GOG and Epic but I haven't verified at those places) https://store.steampowered.com/app/1812280/Cave_Storys_Secret_Santa/
  8. That's exactly what it is, forced babble. Mix that in with endless pausing “…” for an induced coma ?
  9. Yup or how about: Cutscene plays for 5 minutes and ends....then you control your character for about 5 seconds to move across the room a few steps.....and another cutscene starts for another 5 minutes. smh Another one I remember is walking 5-7 steps and automatically always getting a random encounter. Takes you 5 years and countless random battles to cross a pond to get to the other side. lol I think a lot of those were old school JRPG's in the 90's, its improved (for the most part)
  10. I have no idea what this is but its free (on Ubisoft) https://register.ubisoft.com/anno-1404/en-US
  11. Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide is free on Fanatical (edit: but only if you link your steam account with a crappy Chrome plugin) https://www.fanatical.com/en/game/warhammer-end-times-vermintide

  13. Sorry double post: F.E.A.R pack is on sale for $6.60 (redeems on Steam) https://www.greenmangaming.com/games/fear-pack/
  14. Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory is free on the Ubi store: https://store.ubi.com/ca/tom-clancys-splinter-cell-chaos-theory-/575ffdc7a3be1633568b4f98.html?lang=en Also keep an eye out for this free 'collection' on epic coming next week: Sounds like a Netflix for retro games, I dunno....may be worth adding to your library. Never heard of it.
  15. Just wondering if anyone has this, thoughts on fishing + other content? Worth $20? (should be on sale next week though) I'm tempted but not sure if its worth getting (yet again) just for fishing and the creative club content unless its really good (on PC btw).
  16. Bunch of free stuff Beholder steam https://store.steampowered.com/app/475550/ Uplay Assassin's Creed Chronicles: Trilogy https://register.ubisoft.com/ac-chronicles/en-GB KEO steam https://store.steampowered.com/app/1424910/KEO/ Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-shot Adventure Epic https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/p/tiny-tinas-assault-on-dragon-keep-a-wonderlands-one-shot-adventure Outcast 1.1 Gog https://www.gog.com/game/outcast
  17. Halloween sale at Steam and this game is free today: Drones, The Human Condition https://store.steampowered.com/app/556130/Drones_The_Human_Condition/
  18. Trick & Treat...Just a small indie RPG maker game which is well done. It's almost Halloween so I took a timeout with this. Only takes a few hours if you use an achievement guide… and I still missed out on two of them but its an easy one to get 100% with the guide. To me these games are like “one shots”, perfect for whatever game you wanna take a break from that takes hundreds of hours to finish.
  19. Yeah the jeep levels and the boat in both games were......ehhhhh
  20. Well that's one title to cross off my list, I don't tolerate that kind of BS anymore. Thanks for not being afraid to be honest about a Nintendo title. Your not the only one by the way. https://www.denofgeek.com/games/metroid-dread-david-jaffe-difficulty-rant-controversy-reactions/
  21. I beat all the Suikoden games, I thought the PS2 versions weren't as good as the first two on PS1 maybe because of the 3D but mostly the stories were meh but I agree they sort of made up for it with the fifth game. I can hardly remember it I remember having all these colored squirrels on the team for some reason maybe to get some special item or something. I remember grinding for stuff and the game was pretty long and quite difficult towards the end. The controls in all the PS2 games were always kind of clunky esp. the 4th game with that damn ship. Lol. I was planning on revisiting the PS2 games at some point, it's been a long time.
  22. Heh, I think Tomb Raider and the whole 3D craze was in full effect in the late 90s. I could never get into any of the Soul Reaver games. This one though was so hard to find on PC and yeah the PS1 version is pretty clunky. Looks like the reviews say GOG did a good job with this. I'll get it on the next holiday sale although 7 bucks ain't much.
  23. Hidden gem, probably one of the coolest top down (non 3D) RPG's made back in the 90's, finally on GOG: https://www.gog.com/game/blood_omen_legacy_of_kain Other than a console this was impossible to play on PC for years without modding. I wish they made more of this and less of the 3D ones that came out after.
  24. Speaking of GOG, I also found a hidden gem FINALLY released and patched up I been waiting for over a decade, the original Blood Omen: https://www.gog.com/game/blood_omen_legacy_of_kain
  25. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon is free (Ubisoft Connect) https://register.ubisoft.com/ghostrecon-giveaway/en-US
