Thanks for both your replies. I am going to sit down and figure this out tomorrow. I am pretty sure I have sorted out gnd and both buttons. Now for trial and error with the rest

Thanks for the reply. When i said its cable is broken, i mean it has been pulled off. There is no 9 pin connector, just the bare color wires hanging out

Oh, and if I match the colors of the wires in the image with the colors of the wires of my replacememt cable, it is wired incorrectly.

Hi there. I am wondering if anyone has one of those old Zydec mice (with the atari/amiga switch on the bottom) like the one in the attached picture. I found one recently that the cable has been broken off. I am trying to figure out the wiring so I can connect a new cable. Does anyone happen to know pcb/cable order. Any help appreciated.
