  1. Reservation list updated. Thanks folks. Labels just arrived and I'll be starting to make carts tonight!
  2. I'm updating the image in this reply as orders come in: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/241886-announcing-netwalk-port-for-atari-8-bit/page-2?do=findComment&comment=3307175 33 carts have been accounted for as of now.
  3. Thanks everyone for the positive response to this! I'm looking forward to finalizing the build and getting all your carts made/shipped! I believe I have contacted everyone who has expressed interest so far, but please feel free to PM me if I've overlooked anything.
  4. Sounds like a good plan. Any of you folks who want them shipped together, just send me the $20 to reserve the cart. Once you guys are sure everyone is accounted for, we can get the shipping figured out and get one package put together.
  5. Sure - you guys just let me know if you want me to ship some together, and I'll update the price for the single package.
  6. You are correct! I scoured the internet a couple years ago trying to verify a Netwalk port didn't exist for A8 (and didn't find one), but there you have it. At first glance there are definitely a few differences, but I'll certainly have to try that one out now...
  7. Well, don't build it up too much. It was a fun logic game to do, and it has a bit of an addictive nature, so I just hope you guys have some fun with it. Worst case, you just paid a little bit more than you might have otherwise for the parts! Below is an emulator screenshot of the hard level from a beta build. Colors are a bit subdued there, but you get the idea. It's all about completing the "circuit" by closing every open endpoint.
  8. Thanks for that thought. Albert is hooking me up.
  9. Oh, and if you happen to be going to be at VCFMW next weekend, of course we don't have to worry about shipping.
  10. Thanks folks. For anyone in the US, shipping will be $6. Outside the US, just let me know where and I'll get a cost for you.
  11. On August 28, I'll be releasing my first ever (and probably only) game for the Atari 8-bit computer line. This is a port of the fairly popular and addictive Netwalk game that is available on a number of modern platforms, so I'm calling it AtariNet. I'm doing a limited cartridge release of no more than 50 carts, and I want to make them available first to anyone here who is interested. The carts are standard-issue Atari brown with custom labels, and the software is packed into a standard 16K ROM that will run on any A8, NTSC or PAL, with at least 48K RAM. AtariNet features 4 difficulty levels as well as support for keyboard, joystick, and ST mouse. The price for this little piece of Slordom is $20/cart + any shipping needed. If you're interested in getting one, please either reply to this thread or drop me a PM and I'll put you on the list. The first 10 to reserve a cart will get their serial numbers embedded and prominently displayed in the software. I only ask that you are able to make payment before August 28 in order to guarantee your reservation, because I will be offering any remaining carts for sale at VCF Midwest next weekend. Thanks for your support!
  12. I'm looking to get some custom self-stick labels printed for the classic brown cartridge. Probably 50 labels. Anyone here have a quality printing setup and available to help? If so, please PM me. thanks!
  13. I'm looking for offers for a nice condition Diamond GOS cart. It's version 3.0, fully functional, and in very good condition. No broken pins, no broken tabs, no yellowing. Please drop me a PM if interested. Thanks!
  14. Continuing the deal into December. Also, see this post: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/216587-do-you-need-web-hosting-for-an-atari-related-project/
  15. Strangely enough, I haven't yet done any machine upgrades that include SDX - though I do have an Incognito to install one of these days (so that's one I guess). Perhaps I'm in the minority on this, but I tend to actually prefer disk-based booting with SDX being something I use from cart when I need it for something specific - and this new cart is something I'll use in every machine I have, anywhere from stock to heavily modified. I understand the trade-offs though, and I definitely like the fact that lots of cart types will be emulated. Thanks
  16. Good to hear! One thing I didn't find a reference to (so I probably know the answer) - Does this happen to provide a facility for stacking cartridge images? For the obvious scenarios where I want to use SDX as DOS and then run another cartridge on top of that. Either way, I'm looking forward to to receiving the finished product. Thanks
