  1. Has anyone here been able to convert an Express! cartridge image for use in either a standard eprom cart, maybe an OSS cart, or even a flash cart? I ask because I have one original Express! cart that I use quite often, and it would be nice to have a secondary cart I could use in its place. Besides the fact that I don't really need the passthru capabilities, I also have a tendency to drop and break the passthru shells, and I dread the day I ruin this one. I haven't seen anyone post success in concerting this particular cart, so I wonder if it's easier said than done. Thanks! James
  2. I'm still interested in your old floppy media. If you have old disks still sitting around collecting dust, I'm still willing to take them off your hands. thanks!
  3. I'm thinking of selling my Activision cartridge collection (that's all 15 cartridges and 10 of the manuals) as a single lot, and I'm curious if anyone here would be interested or if most folks are just looking to fill a hole here and there. As you can see from the pics, they're all in really good shape except for the label on H.E.R.O. If anyone is interested, feel free to drop me a line, and also feel free to post any opinions in the thread. Thanks! UPDATE: I also have boxes for Beamrider and Keystone Kapers.
  4. The Genesis/32x combo has been claimed, so I removed the pic from my original post. Also, Star Wars Arcade has been claimed. The Genesis/Sega CD combo and the rest of the games are still available.
  5. I've posted photos of some spare Genesis stuff that I'd like to sell at http://www.slor.net/trade/sega/. If anyone here has interest in any of it, I'm open to offers. Would prefer not to split beyond the sets pictured here, but I'm willing to compromise if necessary. thanks! James
  6. We're in the last day on this one - thanks for taking a look.
  7. Can be found here: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 250872900901 Thanks!
  8. Heh - no, I haven't. Perhaps I'll leave that up to its future owner.
  9. This deal fell through. If anyone else is interested, give me a yell. thanks James
  10. I have one of the original 100 releases, complete and in mint condition. Includes: - Cartridge - Disk - Instructions - Box - Box sleeve - Alternate cartridge labels In other words, if it was part of the Robbo Forever release, it's there. I played it just a couple times, so everything included is good as brand new. If you are interested, please PM your offer. Thanks! James
  11. I'll see if I can get a sample for you along that line. Thanks for the reminder.
  12. Interest registered and PM sent. thanks James
  13. I got this a little while back, and I don't believe the sucker had been used before I got it home and tested it out. You can see a good pic here: http://www.slor.net/trade/other8/aquarius.jpg I believe it's complete, down the the styrofoam inserts, and I'd like to get $40 + shipping (will listen to offers of course). thanks! James
  14. Hey all - I am currently looking for PC software on original floppy disk media. If you happen to have old disks that you're contemplating throwing away, I'd be glad to pay shipping to have them sent my way instead. I'll take games, operating systems, applications, utilities, whatever you have just as long as it meets the following criteria: - On originally distributed, unaltered floppy disk media (no copies). - No missing disks in form multi-disk software. - Runs on an IBM PC clone of past or present era (could be for DOS, Windows, OS/2, or others). - I don't already have it. I'm not looking for manuals, boxes, etc. Just disks, and shipped as cheaply as possible. If you have anything you'd like to send my way, please drop me a PM. If you have anything that you consider to be of resale/collectible value, then that's not for me. A few examples of software I'm specifically looking for are WordPerfect 5.1, dBase 3 Plus, and Lotus 1-2-3 2.3 for DOS. Thanks! James
  15. List updated to reflect trades thus far.
  16. I don't use it for a whole lot either, but I've been trying to figure out for a while what the deal is between the different naming, though I thought I had checked in the past and still only found one binary, so this discussion has re-sparked my historical interest. I believe I emailed the credited author of Assembler Editor based on Larry's input in another thread, but I never heard back if I did...
  17. I'm beginning to agree with that - also based on the fact that I would think the move from a 2-chip to a 1-chip cart would have been more likely than a move from 1-chip to 2-chip and because the manual does not show the error summary in its example. What's weird to me is that, based on that and based on the chip revisions, it kinda puts my EA cart _between_ the two AE carts, assuming this chronology makes sense: AE1 (CXL4003 darker brown, no error summary): CO14503-03 and CO12403-03 (no dates) EA (no part #, no error summary): CO14503A-03 (1980) and CO12403A-05 (1982) - I would think the 'A' chips are updates to the non-A, and 1982 is certainly well past the original release for Assembler Editor. AE2 (CXL4003 lighter brown, error summary): - CO60303A-29 (1980) - If error summary was a new feature based on complaints, and guessing that 1 larger chip became more cost effective than 2 small ones. James
  18. FYI - I have both the Editor Assembler (no catalog #) and Assembler Editor (CXL4003) original carts. Here are the diffs between mine: EA: - Does NOT show error count - 2 chips: CO14503A-03 (1980) and CO12403A-05 (1982) AE: - DOES show error count - 1 chip: CO60303A-29 (1980) To me, that would indicate that the one without the error count might be newer than one with, the opposite of what I was thinking before I opened them up. James So, I tried out my spare AE cart this morning, and this is what I found: - Label differs from first AE cart only by brown being a darker shade - Does NOT show error count - 2 chips: CO14503-03 and CO12403-03 (no dates) - ROM dump exactly matches my EA cart Unfortunately, that just adds to my confusion about which revision came first...
  19. Does anyone happen to have a dump of The Writer's Tool cart? I have a spare OSS board I would like to put that on. Also, if anyone happens to have the original cart available, I might be interested in obtaining it. thanks! James
