Yikes!!!!!!!
I guess I really didn't expect any different.
Thanks, though, to those of you who PMed me. -
Oh, one other note - same week as the SDX sold that high, I also saw a loose Express! go for over $150. Truth be told, that one shocked the heck out of me.
-
Thanks for the input. As far as MINT units go, I saw an SDX recently go for over $130 loose, and I saw just the manual sell for $20. Perhaps those are more isolated incidents than the norm. At any rate, they're worth more than $35 each to me, so I'll be hanging on to them.
Perhaps I'll even modify the SDX to handle one of the new releases... -
This is more a curiosity than anything. I recently tried to get rid of a set of both, including manuals and even original box for the SDX. The only firm offer I got was $70 for the set. Admittedly, both have been opened and both have a couple broken pins (easily tightened back up with a little contact cement, but I figured that option would be left to the new owner), but last I checked even that sort of condition was worth anything between $70 and $100 each as long as they are fully working (which they are).
Perhaps SDX popularity has gone down with todays's 4.4x releases? Perhaps there are now better options/mods for timekeeping that I'm unaware of? At any rate, I'm interested in opinions. As it stands, I reckon those carts will remain in the Slorchives...
thanks

I have a CIB disk version of Super Zaxxon if you're interested.
PMed. Thanks
-
Perhaps we can get past the wows and yikes and make a suggestion what I should be asking for it? As I mentioned, I would call it NEW if I hadn't opened it to verify its functionality (I WAS going to use it myself, but I found that I never had much interest), and my asking price was a bit less than what I paid for it. I'm not looking to rip anyone off - as with anything I sell, "or best offer" can by inferred. So, if someone is interested then feel free to send me a PM to make an offer, ask for pics, whatever. Or, I guess you guys can wow and yikes some more if that floats your boat.

I also posted this in the auction forum since it's listed on eBay, but anyone who wants to make a straight offer here can certainly do so. Pictures, of course, are with the auction:
eBay Auction -- Item Number: 280482396413
I normally wouldn't part with these, but I'm currently in need of some quick cash.
thanks!

For AA folks - I'll take the best offer of at least $200 for both, or feel free to send me separate offers for each cart.
thanks
No firm offers for either cart yet, so anyone who may still be interested please drop me a line.
thanks

In an effort to raise some quick cash, I've listed a set of ICD cartridges for the 8-bit computers:
eBay Auction -- Item Number: 280482396413
If anyone wants to make an offer outside of eBay, I'm ok with that as well and will remove the listing. Any questions, feel free to send me a message.
thanks!

Last few hours on this - might get some Best Offer goodness if you act quickly.

This is a complete Atari Lynx 2 system in mint condition - all original packaging, manuals, etc. Even the box is in great shape. As a matter of fact, it's only NOT being listed as NIB because I opened it myself, put batteries in, and tried it out. $150 + shipping? Photos upon request.
thanks!

Have you heard about the KMK/JZ IDE Hard Drive Interface yet? I don't know what the availability is but it sounds like just the thing.
I was under the the impression that was the same thing as the IDEa interface. I enquired at the Atari Fan Store but I was told they were no longer in production.
Yes - same dealio. If you want one, I would recommend contacting Pigula here. He does an excellent job building KMK/JZ/IDEa devices, SIO2SDs, and who knows what else.

i noticed there is alot of pdf's chopped up into multi part for the site upload size restriction. i have a domain ( www.digitalglass.us ) i am not useing, (registered though gandi.net) i have two months of prepaid 1unit service (10GB space, 10Mbit line) i have left over when i used to work and ran a game server (xpilot roolz ;') if it would be a benefit to the community i could set it up as a download server for these pdf's in full size (single pdf per doc) but since i am out of work i would need some help after january with the monthly if i dont have a job... (16 people $1 each or 8 people $2 each etc per month) if people are interested let me know...
sloopy.
Not to stomp on sloopy or anything, but I can also help if something like this is needed (I could set up atarinet.com or even something like files.atariage.com, no charge, on one of my servers with whatever kind of upload access you need). I should have plenty of space as well.

Having read the manual I think...Yar (singular)
Yars (plural)
Yars' (possessive case)
Game title is "Yars' Revenge" so I would use "Yars' Strike".
I think you got me on that one, and I agree with both of you. The possessive Yars' indicating that it's the revenge of the whole colony of Yars, not just a single Yar. I stand corrected (at least half

Dunno that anyone cares - and by the way, the mini-game looks cool - but it was Yars' Revenge, not Yar's Revenge. Our hero is a Yars. You guys can feel free to flame me now for the anal level of this post.
