  1. Come to think of it, I've never used this feature in any game. Would you say it improves the experience in most games? I suppose I don't see how it wouldn't.
  2. I have yet to play this one. I have played ExciteBots: Trick Racing, though.
  3. Thanks for the tip. I'll have to look into getting it sooner, rather than later.
  4. Denpa Men is a dungeon crawler from the very early days of the 3DS. You have to capture Denpa Men (your party members) with AR and each one has different powers. Ketzal's Corridors is a 3D puzzle game that's a sequel to ThruSpace. It's got lots of levels. Pocket Card Jockey is Solitare + Horse Racing/Breeding. It's probably my favorite 3DS eShop game. Photos with Mario is a free app. Prepare to dig out those AR cards again for more photo fun! Speaking of photos, Chibi-Robo! Photo Finder is a decent adventure game. You take pictures and accomplish tasks in minigames and adventure stages to fill a museum. Tokyo Crash Mobs is sequel to Puzz Loop (your Grandaddy's Zuma). Developed by Mitchell corporation, even. Dillon's Rolling Western - surprisingly tough tower defense action game about cowboy animals. Has a retail sequel that's more fleshed out. Any DSIware that's on there that you want! Aura-Aura Climber and Blasto! are decent for $2 each, but the genres they represent have more than enough free analogs on phones, I'm sure. There's more I can't think of. This is what I have for you, for now.
  5. I still have to try those. I have Xenoblade X on my shelf. I've started it, but I'm not far into it. I remember seeing that Nerf game and writing it off. Maybe I should try it. I liked those Wii U games, too (not Devil's Third - I've never played it). I've always wanted to try Fishing Resort and his other work from Prope. I've walked by a cheap copy of Let's Tap! several times, but never bit (it didn't have the box). I should've bought Rodea when I had the chance, and I can't find a copy of Ivy the Kiwi anywhere so I'll have to use Amazon (or some alternative). Have you seen Naka's newest game? It just released a few days ago. "Balan Wonderworld." It looks alright.
  6. PS5 Owners, The PS5 comes with the SONY DualSense controller, which includes many features and gizmos promised to improve your playing experience (DualSense Wireless Controller Video | PS5 - YouTube). Which applications of DualSense features have been your favorite? Have any stuck out to you? This game, Astro's Playroom, is a tech demo of sorts for the new controller: Astro's Playroom - Gameplay Trailer l PS5 - YouTube
  7. I know how you feel. It's refreshing to see some love for this one. I enjoyed it, way back when. First Wii game I obtained (disregarding the packed-in Wii Sports). I know the game rubbed fans of the older games the wrong way, but I think it gets an undeserved 'rap'.
  8. Have you completed the Amico Moon Patrol Demo? I have. I was wondering what you all thought of it:

-Can you explain your experience with the demo?

-What control types did you try? Did you prefer one setup to the other?

-Have you convinced anyone else to try the demo? What were there opinions?

-Checkpoint X was tough, right? Or am I just out of practice?

This would probably be better as an actual thread.  I have not tried the demo.

I tried it when it first came out.  IIRC you had to jump through some hoops like scanning an Amico logo before you can play, so that limited how much I tried.  Otherwise, it seemed fine.  I'm not a fan of phone controls for this type of game so I played once or twice and that was it.  There wasn't much it could have done about that, but didn't really change my interest level for Moon Patrol or the Amico in general.  I didn't bother with the high score contest they ran for it a while back.

  9. Please ignore those quote boxes. I was tinkering around with options and couldn't figure out how to delete them.
  10. Nice to see another Wii Fit U and Starfox Zero fan in the wild. Yes, Zero is amazing. Excellent GamePad usage. I got so 'in tune' with that game's controls that going back to play other, similar games felt outdated. Guard is great, too. One of my favorite games on the platform, honestly. Try Affordable Space Adventures, if you haven't.
  11. The GamePad had great usage and incredible untapped potential. Glad to see screen controllers aren't dead (Amico). They seemed to be more dead than dinosaurs.
  12. What is the age distribution of site users here? Does anyone have an estimate? I mean, I think I have a good idea, but I'd like outsider opinions/facts.

No big or scary reasons for my question. Just curious...

I mean actual age rather than 'how we act,' ha ha.

I can't speak to distribution as far as youngest or oldest, but I can say with absolute certainty that the overwhelming majority of users here are white males, aged 45-55.

      Thanks for the information!

  13. Hello, all. I hope you're having a good day. The Amico's special controller reminds me a lot of these two consoles. It's hard to believe both consoles came out so long ago. What is your favorite game(s) for these two wonderful machines? Why do you consider it your favorite?
  14. Hello, all. Happy to be here!
