While cleaning out my attic yesterday, I stumbled upon my stx-80. I believe we bought it in 1984 to go with our new Apple //e. I "Googled" it just to see what came up and I saw your post. I scanned in the Users' Manual (200 dpi, but I think it looks OK). If you're still interested, let me know.
