  1. Ah yes, it is my cart circa 2006. I used a blue cloth as a background to take the pictures, and also included a piece of paper with spidey300 on it which was edited out. I really don't mind my pictures being used on other sites...I just don't want people to think I'm stealing my own pics. As far as the screws are concerned, I wish I could say. I have never seen another pic of this cartridge, although from what I've read on here there are at least a couple members with this label version so they may be able to shed some light on that.
  2. I listed the cartridge only with a buy-it-now back then, but as you can see, did not sell it.
  3. Hey guys. I know I don't have many posts on here, but I have an excellent track record of trading (although I haven't had any transactions in a while) at Digitpress (same user ID) and an excellent record on eBay as well as spidey300. I am putting up my original Atari 2600 Magicard for sale. I have heard of the first version with the Computer Magic blue label, but I've never seen it pictured. The only one I've seen pictured is the Commavid white label version. The prior owner won this at the CGE 2005 Mystery Auction. Joe Santulli was the one who donated it for the mystery auction. He told me that this cartridge "came right from the home of the game's original designer" (which I presume to be Dr. Bronstein). Here is his report from the day he visited: http://www.digitpress.com/archives/cc_commavid.htm The Magicard comes with a reproduction manual and keypad overlays (from SunMark). Also included are a pair of original and brand new keypad controllers required to "play" the game. It really hurts to think what I gave up for it...Stadium Events, sealed Cheetahmen and a couple of other high profile games...but it has been nice owning a unique part of Atari history. I've taken a couple pictures of the insides of the cartridge for those that are interested. I've also taken a picture of the game "in action" lol. Feel free to ask any questions. Looking for reasonable offers. Prefer money over trades. I will accept PayPal, or any form of payment you desire. I package very carefully, so be assured it will arrive in the same condition it has left. I understand that many collectors prefer to be discrete about their high-profile purchases...let me know if this applies to you and I will oblige.
  4. I agree Crazy Climber. It really is in such horrible condition.
  5. Sorry. I just felt I was going to catch some flak for the BIN price, which I felt was balanced out with the Best Offer option. I just interpreted your response wrong. Sorry about that.
  6. I never really ever wanted to sell this 'game', but an upcoming move and grad school necessitate this sale. Click Here
  7. Well, since I thought they were real prototypes to begin with I put in a bid. Looks like the winning bidder has backed out because the seller has sent me a second chance offer. I have no idea on the historical value place upon final ROM's, but I'm guessing there's quite a few of these floating around in collector's hands? Or is their value diminished because they are so close to (or basically are) the final version?
  8. I was able to use the C1 coupon only once, and ONLY by itself for a purchase of $500+. And I was just able to use the C3 coupon on a purchase of over $100, but was not able to combine it with the C2. Thanks for the tip anyhow!
  9. Well, I bought the Stadium Events and struck a deal with Swlovinist. Thanks McGrail for the PayPal coupons. Two didn't work, but the 10% ($25 Max) off coupon did! It took more than the Stadium Events to pull it off, but to me, well worth it for the Magicard. Oh, by the way, I'm a DP'er that lounges around here. So that's why this is my first post.
