  1. It's at Amazon.com now. I'm curious as to whether the "Target Exclusive" was always a temporary arrangement, or maybe there's some odd copyright loophole (or whatever rules or regulations apply) because it's "educational". However, now over $36, not $8 anymore. My nephew is having a birthday (poor kid narrowly escaped not having a b-day party last year, fortunately it was moved up for various reasons, got his party last year) Also, the unit is made in the shape of a mac, that suggests a Mac plus emulator, although DOS seems a lot more logical, despite the variant screen resolution. Actually, is there a full "emulator" running at all? Would it be Open Source? Could other simple low memory programs be loaded in the place of this title? I'm dying to find out. Maybe I'll buy two!
  2. This is very funny, even five years later. There is no really such thing as a "Retr0brite" official product (spelled any way)!!! The people who invented the process put their formula on a webpage (at the defunct retr0brite.wikispace.com), The “Retr0bright” Project By Merlin, of AmiBay (of Manchester UK), the English Amiga Board and Vintage Computer Forums (among others). Unscrupulous people then went on eBay to sell their own "Retr0brite", but they had no backing or licensing from the original group . Perhaps a product with a licensed trademark has come out in years since, but you keep insisting in 2015, that you don't use "Retrobrite", you're just using it as a "generic term". There is no other way to use it! While you may not have bought anything labelled "retrobrite", but you've still fallen for eBay sellers' tricks because you thought there was a real definitive "Retrobrite" product out there! https://web.archive.org/web/20121031124321/http://retr0bright.wikispaces.com:80/home
