Nope, the one I have does not require soldering onto the motherboard, it's plug and play. The designer told me that it is far superior in quality to the FAQ mod. I know that being out of AA forum for long time I could lose something important... What do you mean for "plug and play" and "don't require soldering"? It's a long time that I would love to connect my 5200 in a more 'enjoyable' way. You know, I have a Sony multistandard TV (PAL, NTSC), but sound never was clear, always some buzz during play. BTW, if I recall, I find AA forum right for this reason, asking for an help...

This is cool, I heard there where some software company's in Italy a long time ago. Is there hardware for the Atari that was made in Italy? I would be interested in it... Also software/games... When I was young (sigh... lot of years ago... ), I worked in a computer shop. I was 15, during the 1985, and our shop made and published a game for the ST called "MasterBrain", obviously a clone of Mastermind.

Defender 2k is a good game, personally I love to play both classic and Plus versions. Also, Protector is great, really. (This topic reminds me... is a lot of time that I don't play with those games, need to take carts out of the boxes ).

Crystal Castles was available on the ST? OMG, I don't recall to have played with it... Bubble Bobble was great, like Parasol Stars and Rainbow Islands. Also, I remember I played a lot with Out Run

Yeah, it's a pity that game was never completed. Maybe TT don't use full Jag power, but looks nice, and it could be a good title to attract players.
