I was wondering if there really are hidden games in the FB2 unit. Has anyone out there accessed them, and how?

I went to walmart in Hialeah today and they had quite a few Sunday night, in the toy section. I hope these units are not the scam ones with all the problems, if so, it's going right back.

Well, I'll have to admit that there was some speculation on my part. Jason is one of the people that I left a message for in the sales department at Atari in New York, he was kind enough to write back and stated that the new release date would be 10/5. Now the speculation was that everything before that that had been released had problems...I'm not sure if it will or won't but I'll wait till after October to make sure that at least my unit will be with the upgraded chip. Honestly, I haven't read through all the threads, but I haven't heard of anyone yet getting a correctly working version...either I read no voice or I read abpit scrolling problems, missing sounds etc. Does anyone out there actually have a version with voice working? When I first saw the problems listed I almost screamed in horror as I learned my lesson with Atari Flashback I which at best I will say is a horrible rendition of the classic 2600 collection on it, not to mention the 7800 selection. I really hope that Atari does get it right on 10/5, I'm really looking forward to a complete, perfectly working system. Dan

Just wanted to let everyone know that I spoke to Jason at Atari and they are fixing the sound issue and will release the system now on 10/03/05 or 10/05/05. They are aware of the sound issue and have decided to make a good impression. If you buy the units that are out now they will have issues.
