  1. People here are apparently too dumb to read more than one sentence. Fuck off, I'm done.
  2. Did some more research and "Lose Your Marbles" is it. Referenced i.a. here: (source: https://as.com/meristation/2005/05/18/reportajes/1116384780_036453.html) That article talks about N-Gage 2.0 / SNAP games, but most of these started development on the original N-Gage and it clearly shows that "Lose Your Marbles" was being worked on for the platform. I'm now tempted to get back to his offer. But he wants my Atari Vol.1 alpha card in return, which I'm not willing to give away. ?
  3. LOL. Read the sentence I quoted from atari2600land and then 'til the statement below my picture, as that was the whole point of it: having lots of stuff does not go in line with knowledge. Not sure what's "dick-swinging" about showing the N-Gage stuff I have on display in my museum to back up my reply. I just reacted to a slightly conceited statement by atari2600land. Anyway, with "Lose Your Marbles", you could even be right. The icon he showed me resembles the cover art quite closely.
  4. I can easily top that. Every single retail release incl. cover variations and misprints (all sealed!), tons of alphas/betas, press and media kits, prototype units, etc.. I collect since 2006. The picture below only shows the stuff that is set up nicely for display. Doesn't mean I know about every single game that was ever in development or planned for the system...
  5. I guess if you answer to a topic about one asking if anyone knows about a game for the platform, you should know about what games there were actually made for the platform. Don't you think?
  6. Nah, that's certainly the name of it. The icon of the game shows it. But agree with you otherwise.
  7. Thanks. I think I'll pass on the offer then. He can't even show gameplay footage. To be fair, that's because the game comes on a DSK dev card and he has no unit that has DSK-enabled firmware, but still...
  8. Anyone ever heard of that one? It was apparently in development around 2003/4 but got cancelled like most other games by SEGA for the platform. I was offered a prototype copy. However, since I can not find any info about that game (I mean, at all!) and he wants to trade only, I'm doubting that such a game exist at all.
  9. That info is not needed. All 210 models have only one port for a pointing device. The other one on the back is serial only and can not be used for a pointing device. The /XX only gives options like DVC pre-installed or additional video-out ports. Simply check the manual. It says on page 9 that the splitter is required: https://www.manualslib.de/manual/594835/Philips-Cdi-210.html?page=9#manual
  10. Good question. I have the splitter myself and the ports are clearly labeled "1" and "2". But I don't know if that is hard-coded or if the controllers are just enumerated and the first one found is controller 1, no matter on which port. Since you need the splitter anyway, I'd say just try it. In the worst case, you also need to get a second gamepad.
  11. Afaik you would need two controllers for that (and the port splitter if your model has no "Input 2"). The remote is always controller 1. If you attach a gamepad to input 1, that will become controller 1. So you can not play two-player games that way. Note that the remote is not encoded. You can use every CD-i remote and it will just work. Their is no pairing and the system can not distinguish between different remotes. //edit: It would probably work with the remote as controller 1 and the gamepad as controller 2 on input 2. But the 210 has no input 2. So at the very least, you need the port splitter.
  12. Sounds more like a problem with your TV that with the CD-i. Which CD-i model do you have and how is it connected? Tried a different TV set?
  13. I'm currently maintaining my CD-i gamepads. Fun fact about the "Gravis" one: it's actually made by Logitech, not by Gravis.
  14. Mini DIN as well. But not compatible with ADB, if that was the reason for your question But why convert the Gravis PC pad when a native CD-i version exists?
  15. Oh yeah, that thing... I had the 550 back then, which was a re-badged 450 with the DVC pre-installed and the gamepad instead of the wired remote. Still have the gamepad.
