I don't think I have much to add that hasn't already been said, except that when using a warp zone, if you know what color you want to land at, keep walking into the warp until it cycles to that color before you exit the car. If anyone is wondering if there's a secret to be found if you fly the drone very far past the front or back of the convoy, I'm fairly confident that the answer is No, there's not. I flew for longer than I'd like to admit in both directions just in case ?

I died a lot on Gator Alley until I figured out that if you position your jumps to land on the right part of the head, you can take your hand off the stick and use the button alone to go across. This helped me eliminate a lot of slightly-tapped-the-stick-and-fell-in-a-gator's-mouth deaths. Here's a GIF to illustrate what I mean.

Was it on top of a spool? You can slide under the snakes on spools if you back up a little before trying to slide.

Normally you should just bounce off them. They're only meant to get in the way not be killer bunnies

Did you get a patch-qualifying score?

I've been playing on emulation and am glad the high score list shows platform as well. I'd really like to see the option to filter by platform, or for there to be two scoreboards, as I see a lone console player at the bottom of the top ten, but really they're #1 among console players. I'm intrigued by how several people have more than 80 stars, since the game says there are 80 total. Maybe there are bonus stars to be found if one uncovers all the game's secrets. So far using no save states I've managed 60 out of 80, and 4 out of 5 keys. It's a game I'll definitely be playing for some time to come, especially with the Perfect Game patch enticing me to keep trying.
