Hum, if it ship 10 December I guess I won't receive it in Canada before I go on Christmas vacation :S Is it possible to upgrade to a faster shipping service than USPS? I ask cause Canada post (Who handle USPS stuff) only hold package for 7 day before returning them. (I lost many package before while I was on vacation because of this :@)

The marketer in me would suggest ignoring the technical stuff (cause not everyone knows what it is or what it can do) and focus on the benefits! Example: - Save your high scores! - More memory for more advanced games! - Adds fantastic arcade quality sound - Add additional peripherals to your 7800! +1 It sound more like a real product from the '80 like this.

I guess he was asking, when shipped will it be put in another box so the product box don't get damaged by shipping. I hope it will! -

Awesome!! thanks so much for all your work on this. Can't wait to receive mine -
Nice idea atariappleman, personally I would find it cool to get such multicart in somekind of bundle with the expansion module! But this is up to the homebrewer to see what kind of project interest them. Other solution would be to pay more for the module so Curt could hire some coder to do this.

Sirius, Plutos and Rampart Prototypes Released! For Real!
DarthCloud replied to Curt Vendel's topic in Atari 7800
My understanding of the XM is that it just integer in one device new RAM, POKEY, HSC and Yamaha audio so you still need to build a cart to hold the binary in a ROM. Those games don't seam to use any special hardware in it. So XM or not, you still need to kill another game to hold the ROM -

One question: I have the POKEY version of Beef Drop, will this work will the option #2 if I want to use the HSC feature only? Is the two POKEY will get into conflict? Is there anyway to disable the expansion pokey so I could use the HSC part? Thanks

I'm in for one of those CX-78XM1 (option #2)

I ordered from him at the end of June an unassembled board for 7800, He told me at beginning of July he should get is part soon and didn't get any news from him since that. I send him a PM two week ago and didn't get any reply. So I opened two day ago a disputed with paypal about that case since I was still in the 45 day windows. Now I leave him one week to respond to my dispute otherwise I will simply open a reclamation with paypal. I suggest anyone who still in the 45 day windows to do the same, look like LHE is not longer interested by his business. Being skilled in electronic do not make you a good seller..... Not big deal for me, I'm just going to design my own board. I already ordered the part from mouser.

What's with all the complex (compared to this) circuitry that people keep coming up with, then, if this is all it takes? Not trying to be rude here, just trying to wrap my head around it. Why use transistors and ICs when you can just use resistors? Adapter do not modify the internal circuit of the controller, so you can still use your gen pad on a Sega genesis. If you modify your pad by cutting trace then it will only work with the 7800. Going the IC route is my preferred method personally. Btw making an adapter for gen to 7800 is pretty easy and so their are many way to do it. Here mine with a standard triple 2-channel multiplexer:

Finaly received mine today Big thanks to Ken for an awsome game! Also thx Albert and everyone else involving in the realese of this game in cartridge. The AA logo intro is realy cool! I also have the 8bitdomain video board in my 7800, so my pokey sound is also a bit low. I remember a thread over here with a fix but can't found it for some reason, will check back later tonight. ho and I got #6

Anyone Dumped the FB1 to a NES file?
DarthCloud replied to Shawn's topic in AtGames Flashback and Portable Consoles
Man I was hoping that some one ported the Flashback games from the unit to a NES cart soo much that I made this label art. You should instead make a lable for a Tengen like NES cart. -
Payment sent ! Hope to get one!!
