While I like Defender, Stargate (Defender II) is pretty spot on.

which arcade ports got it "right" ?
HP Atari King of Michigan replied to godzillajoe's topic in Atari 2600
Let's see: Ms. Pac-Man Dig Dug Kangaroo Donkey Kong (although the gameplay gets a little repetitive after a while) Centipede Millipede Frogger (especially the Starpath version) -
Robot Tank plays like a souped-up, fast paced, actually fun version of 2600 Battlezone. Agreed!

Nice one! I do have Skeet Shoot and Skateboardin', too!

2600 games better than 5200/7800 versions
HP Atari King of Michigan replied to Ben_Larson's topic in Atari 2600
I actually prefer Ms. Pac-Man on the 2600 over the 7800 version. The action on the 2600 version is much better. Haven't played the 5200 version yet. -
Actually, I think Robot Tank is a souped-up version of Battlezone.

I got a light sixer but it's missing the sticker with the serial number. Any idea on how to retrieve it?

Just another bunch of dumbasses with nothing better to do. -
What a bunch of crybabies at Epic. Totally retarded.

This time it's G.I. Joe: Cobra Strike (Gray label), Armor Ambush, Bump 'n' Jump. Haven't played yet, but will after work.

Just got one via Ebay. My # is 84822E.

Paypal warning to all...
HP Atari King of Michigan replied to Curt Vendel's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
I only use PayPal if I'm paying with my debit card for something I bought on eBay. I never put money into PayPal at all. -
Just got Big Sexy over the weekend and now to make it complete, I just need a pair of the original CX-10 Joysticks (preferably with the hex if you have 'em, if not it's ok). And to a lesser degree, the original paddles with the Atari logo on them. PM me if you got some.

7800 Super Pac-Man - I found the bug!

Now that's a good port! Sign me up for a copy as well! -
Finally got a Heavy Sixer!
HP Atari King of Michigan replied to HP Atari King of Michigan's topic in Atari 2600
Well it came yesterday. Fired it up tonight and it works great! -
the 2port won't play all 5200 games so it needs the 4port OS to play all games. Those games in question are Pitfall II and Mountain King. I had gotten a copy of PF2 and I had a 2-port and it didn't work.
-
Personally, I wouldn't use the adapter on either 4-port or 2-port, I'll just play my 2600 and 5200 games on their respected systems. But I would play the 2600 games on the 7800, though.

How much did you end up getting it for if you don't mind me asking? About $55 (not including shipping).
