Geez, that guy sure seemed to like paddles...

I can rest easier now - just as long as the museum doesn't go all Library of Alexandria on our butts and burn down <:

Here's a question... Is there any one formal entity that is saving all things Atari on an official basis or is preserving the memory of the Atari left up to individual collectors. I imagine we all think we are preserving a part of our childhoods here but is anyone doing it on the level of Johnny Carson storing tapes of his shows in salt mines or the like? Just curious...

What evidence do you have that you actually possessed any game called Adventure? Maybe you just imagined you had it.

Never had any problems with the expansion and I was 12 years old at the time <:

Let's be honest, the Atari 2600 was inferior to the Coleco Vision - accept it. However, everyone and their dog were making games for Atari. My favourite Atari moment was therefore getting a used Atari adapter for my ColecoVision from a newspaper ad for around $30.00. Now I had the best of both worlds - the quality of the Coleco and the quanity of the Atari <:

Haven't played them all (yet) but from memory, here are the ones I liked... Pitfall 2 H.E.R.O. Asteroids Ms Pac Man River Raid Jungle Hunt Demon Attack Dolphin Oink

If you're really hard up for Atari buddies, take a chance and run an ad somewhere in your city and you never know, you could hook up with a fellow enthusiast or uhm, maybe a serial killer but what the hell, he might play a round of Warlords with you before he chops you up!

For what it's worth, sell it for whatever you can get it if it no longer gives you pleasure. A friend recently died and left thousands of sealed comics behind. He couldn't take them with him and I doubt his wife will read them. Use it or lose it, live's too short to horde useless crap that we don't want.

That's funny, I don't remember my Radio Shack pong game ever smelling as a child.

Excellent maps folks - especially SeaGT's map. Pitfall 2 was the first game I ever "finished" and what a rush to see the entire map 20 some years later. Although, somehow it all seemed so much bigger back then <:

Let me get this straight - $400.00 for two very old video games that can be played through emulation? Not to rag on how anyone spends their money but seriously folks, time for a reality check here.

Quick question. Is there a zip or rar file that has all the available Atari 2600 manuals in text format available and if so, could someone direct me to the location. Something to watch out for: Wal-Mart over here in Manitoba, Canada just started selling cereal that has the Atari 80 Classic Games collection - sweet.
