  1. It was only a flop in our hearts. Atari, on the other hand, cried all the way to the bank.
  2. Ms. PacMan - It needs a black background and have the speed increase as you progress. (Just to name a few things) Tie between Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr - Because... damn. Pole Position - Green grass, drones that look like race cars and not like yellow fences, and maybe some start and finish line grafx.
  3. If it's mint in plastic, you might be able to get $18 to $20.
  4. I think I got my first Atari back in 1982 or 3, used from my aunt. I didn't even know I had it till 1987.
  5. Atari company games go by CX number. Activision games go by color (kinda like the rainbow in their logo). All other companies go alphabetically
  6. I wish some one would make a 32k version of Double Dragon with better graphics and two player mode for the 2600. I'd pay $45 for a good copy. Oh well, a man can dream can't he?
  7. It won't do a thing for 2600 games.
  8. For me it's a lot of third party games like: Eggomania Encounter At L-5 Zaxxon Fantastic Voyage Trick Shot Journey Escape Riddle of the Sphinx
  9. Haunted House and Surround. Both pretty badass.
  10. Gonna play Atari on a 13" inch t.v like old times!

  11. Gonna play Atari on a 13" inch t.v like old times!

  12. what?!? superman was always one of my favorite games on 2600. and although i wouldn't put it in a list of "best 2600 graphics", i always thought they were decent enough. especially since it was released somewhat earlier in the machines' lifespan. True. Superman was one of the games for the 2600 that I had to have even after newer stuff came out like Pitfall and Jungle Hunt. I find that it's still very fun to play.
  13. These newer games are such a hassle to play. To many buttons needed to do one simple action. Maybe I'm getting old but I'm going to stick with my 2600 over my PS3.
  14. Sounds like you have a Diet-Sixer.
  15. Over 100 games and counting. Damn 2600 is an addiction but if loving my Atari is wrong, I don't wanna be right.
