1. As it says on the mag page.. Each issue will be going live a few at a time. This is simply to prevent a lot of people downloading the whole lot at once and overwhelming the server.
2. http://exxos.www.idnet.com/IMPULSE/atari/last/ All issues of AW and AC are going live over the next week or so. Some pages need rescanning, but rather than waiting more months while pages are checked & rescanned, I have compiled all the issues "as is" for the time being. For the moment I am only allowing AC issues to be downloaded, simply due to if lots of people download the whole lot in one go, its going to slow the server down (which isn't mine). Once I get a idea on traffic/hits I will allow downloaded of more mags as the days go on. Scans are classed as "bugerware" where contributions for my burger fund would be appreciated! Those mags took several months to scan and still much work left to do. I also plan to start scanning STF but this will take probably the best part of a year to complete. Of course it depends on how long my burger fund keeps up meanwhile. The direct link to the page is http://exxos.www.idnet.com/IMPULSE/atari/last/mags/mags.htm,. Feel free to link to that page, but please do not "hot link" direct to the files. Enjoy!
3. I am going to place all my stock of my 1.44 upgrade on Ebay in the near future. There are around 30 PCB's and probably around parts to build up about 10 modules. Instructions and such are on my website. The kits (excluding drives) I have been selling for £25, though I will make a you a offer for the lot at a fraction of the cost. URL http://www.cps-electronics.co.uk/144/HD4.htm there are links to instructions etc from that page, you might want to leech the pages before they are taken down. While on the subject, I also have 3 STFM's I upgraded. Was selling these for £65-100, though not asking anywhere near that, if you are interested or know anyone who might want one then let me know. open to *sensible* offers at the moment, the list below is what I think is baged up in the loft at the moment.. ---------------------------------- Atari 520 ST FM Totally stripped down, cleaned & serviced. 8. Hi all, 2 DMA cables and 1 HD for sale, open to offers before they get chucked on Ebay, really dont want to list on Ebay due to their ripoff listing fees. Images of the drive and a DMA cable here. http://www.aqtq39.dsl.pipex.com/temp/DSCF0013.JPG DMA cable is the normal DMA-SCSI converter type. have also added in a bargain page to cps electronincs (or tried too) to clear surplus items off. A lot of it is stuff which is new which never used or just got too darn many of them taking up space. http://www.cps-electronics.co.uk/web/bargin.asp http://www.cps-electronics.co.uk/web/clearance.asp Will shipworld wide, though probably not worth overseas ppl ordering due to postal costs. Latterz Chris

10. Yep. Good ST mice are just about impossible to find in the USA, so I cobbled up a PIC and a nice optical PS/2 mouse for my TT030. Not too terrible, a little interrupt to check for PS/2 data and meter out the ST pulses. The PS/2 data drives X and Y deltas, and the ST output decrements them. Acceleration comes from how often you send the ST pulses. I think I used a 16F628A... I'd have to de-glue-blob it to be sure. I'll have to throw a picture up on my website some time. The interface you guys did for acceleration is really slick. -Ken 925632 Alison did the programming behind the interface, my part was to break it and produce the PCB's.. The ones alison has on Ebay are all her own work. I know it was a bit tricky to get the phased pulses just right at first but it was soon sorted out. Alison has done a fantastic job on the programming for PeST. I wouldn't be putting the CPS name to it otherwise! I never really liked the Atari mouse anyway, but after using this module for the past couple of weeks now and after using it you just really dont want to go back to the atari mouse again thats for sure! chris
11. have you done one of these kinda things yourself then Ken ? would be interested in seeing your work. Chris
12. What you mean by "yet" ? Was there any need for one which we should be aware of or problems of somekind related to the cap ? You can see PeST PCB outline on the PS2 page. http://www.cps-electronics.co.uk/web/PS2.htm Chris
13. The ones I am selling (worldwide) are found at http://www.cps-electronics.co.uk/web/PS2.htm these plug under the port area, Alisons are external cased types. Alison is selling the cased types on Ebay in the UK at the moment, you will have to bug her to sell the cased ones overseas
14. Hello I saw the Ebay boxed version that was up for GB only..will the versions you sell be the same or will it be as in the piccy without the case over the PCB? Thanks twbrown 925044 Alison is selling boxed versions for UK at the moment, I dont know if she will sell them worldwide.... am trying to convince her The ones I am selling are as they are on my webpage, they plug under the ST's ports. chris
