  1. One of the first real 3D first person games was Descent.
  2. Tivo has made the television the gravitational center of my home.
  3. I love those LED Mattel Football games. My dad still has Football and Football 2 from when he was a teenager. Ah, 9-volt batteries.
  4. I was walking around my cold house in shoes to keep my feet warm, even on the carpet. I went to put a DVD into my Tivo, and I zapped it. The LED screen went blank. I turned it off and back on and now in every square 8, the top left 2 segments always light up.
  5. Kisrael, right click the shortcut of the program you would like to be compatible, and click Properties. From there click the Compatibility tab. Check the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and select Windows 95. That will do it for the Neverhood, that I know, but I don't know how well it will work with SimTunes.
  6. Xevious, Mario Bros, Donkey Kong, and Tetris. Some people don't like the Nintendo-licensed version but I do. Not as much as the Tengen one though '.'
  7. I remember Indenture. Good old days when F10 was the quit button.

    iPod MAME

I would only use it if it was compatible with video iPods.
  9. Probably one of the Namco Museums. Whichever one has Xevious.
  10. Obviously the Vader. The first named 2600.
  11. Indeed Skullmonkeys takes place right after The Neverhood. Klogg was banished from The Neverhood and ended up landing on the Skullmonkey planet, and became their leader. "I...am...Kloggmonkey! The KING OF ALL SKULLMONKEYS!!!!"
  12. A klaymation adventure game for PC. Go to the-underdogs.org and download it now. Make sure your XP computer is set for Windows 95 compatibility. Anyway, I have loved this game ever since it came out. How about you?
  13. Be honest. How much time have you spent playing this game? It's pretty freakin' awesome for a TI-99 game (surprisingly complex too). It's kind of annoying to wait for the cassette to load (could get the diskette if I wanted to get the expansion) but it's worth the wait to play this "3-d" adventure game.
  14. If you don't use eBay, NES games are pretty fracking expensive. I remember when they were between .50 and 1.50 at GameStop, but that was before I got an NES. >
  15. Doom 3 will never surpass HL and HL2. Those games are just deeper to me. Plus HL made a very good job of being the first FPS to have no FMV sequences and let the player be active in every part of the game.
  16. I exchanged it for a working one instead. I'm glad that it didn't work on the real store unit either, or else I wouldn't have been able to exchange.
  17. a team doesn't always mean competition. do you honestly think Sonic Team is a competitive team?

    Sudoku Haiku

numbers in the grid does 9, 3, or 5 go there? ah, screw it. so there.
  19. This might be a problem with the Yobo, or a problem with the controller, but i bought an original NES controller and plugged it into my Yobo and it didn't work. None of the buttons worked at all. I plugged the packaged controller back in and it worked fine. I'm guessing it's a problem with the controller (the cord could have been wrapped around the controller a few too many times) but I'm not sure. I noticed that the original controllers also don't quite go all the way into the Yobo (Zapper, etc.), but my Zapper works fine even though that's the case.
  20. Rebel Assault II for PC or PlayStation. With invulnerability mode on the whole game will almost finish by itself without you touching the PC, because it's a rail shooter. Same with Deadly Tide.
  21. My NES Hogan's Alley cart had a spider web in the bottom, but that's about all I can think of. Most of the stuff I buy gets tested before I buy it. BUT! My dad's computer keyboard is full of sunflower seed shells. He can't stop eating those seeds at the computer.
  22. I'll try turning up the brightness level. edit: Nope, still didn't work. I turned up the brightness to 100% and I even made the refresh rate lower.
