  1. That's not a bad idea, fabventure2600. I think Tunnel Runner would actually be pretty damn good for hacking Doom graphics into ^_^
  2. PC. There's just so much stuff available that you can never stop collecting, so it won't be an eventually lost cause!
  3. It could be a problem with your TV. It's easily fixable though. Go into the Gamecube Menu, go to Options, and adjust the screen position to the center. It's probably like this with all your other games, but you've just never noticed it without that GB player border. My own TV's picture is a little defective too. It's about 1.5 cm too far to the right. But when I adjust this, then it's fine.
  4. I agree with you there. For one thing...IT HAS SCANLINES, for another thing, the sound is too loud, and finally, when too many sounds start happening at once it gets distorted and crackly sounding. Tempest's controlling isn't really too hard considering that it's analog control like the arcade game, which had a rheostat. I rather like the stylus control. You could also use the finger strap.
  5. I'm looking for one of these on the internet but have so far been unsuccessful. Anyone?
  6. I will say that MK64 is my personal favorite. Many days were spent at my friend's house battling on the Double Decker course and Block Fort. Big Donut was cool too ^_^.
  7. I mostly use the stylus, except when I'm using the furniture in my house, and when I'm fishing or catching bugs. If you use the dpad to move around the shore, it will go slow enough as to not scare the fish away. It's harder to move slow enough with stylus control for me.
  8. It is definitely a good deal. The TV connection box can be gotten at Radio Shack, or you could get the Female RCA Coaxial adapter in the AtariAge store.
  9. I gave it a 7 out of 10, which is a C- (70%). So I am somewhere in between you and MegaManFan.
  10. I just purchased Retro Atari Classics for Nintendo DS today, and let me be one of the first to say it isn't as bad as its rep. If you ignore the really cheesy graffiti style remixes, the retro versions are pretty faithful to the original. In most of the games, the stylus makes a good tool for controlling the game, especially Tempest, Warlords, Missile Command, Pong, and Breakout. The rest of them really require the use of the D-Pad and buttons though, like Sprint, Asteroids, Gravitar, and Lunar Lander. The stylus control on those is just horrible. Overall I would probably give the collection 7 out of 10. IMHO^10
  11. Yeah, I went to Ogonek too, and he was just standing there for about 5 minutes. Then he woke up and started talking to me.
  12. Quake II DS would be awesome. It's definitely feasible too. The only problem is that Nintendo hasn't released an id game on their console since the N64. I agree with the Xevious idea. I love that little game. A Conker game could be nice, but Rare has since stopped cooperating with Nintendo. Nintendo doesn't even list Conker's Bad Fur Day on their website. So much for the "Master Game List" How about Paper Mario DS? Super Smash Bros. DS Tempest DS...Wait! Retro Atari Classics! I'ma go buy that right now!!!
  13. DOA Ultimate 2 DOA3 Halo Halo2 SW: Revenge of the Sith Magic: Battlegrounds SW: Starfighter Collector's Edition SW: Clone Wars Soul Calibur II
  14. The idea behind it is that it sends your wired broadband Internet connection out to the USB device, which converts it into wireless Internet. That's how it becomes "Wi-Fi."
  15. NO! MUM! DAD! It's EVIL! DON'T TOUCH IT! http://www.happynowhere.net/mac_parody.php
  16. Not true. DVD's were conceived sometime around 1994. The first DVD players were released around the same time as the N64. One of my dad's friends got one.
  17. At first Nintendo was on top, then with the PSX in 1995, Sony made it to the market earliest. Then again in 2000 with PS2. Microsoft made it first this time so they'll probably win.
  18. This isn't a game but I got a 1019 block Gamecube memory card (Nintendo brand) new for $9.99. Cheapest game I ever bought new would be Blake Stone for DOS PC - $5.99.
  19. edit:oops i posted twice on same topic this is an old one!
  20. I found out that Conker's Bad Fur Day isn't listed on their website anymore.
  21. Animal Crossing DS is definitely my favorite. It's just as immersive as the gamecube game, imho. It has basically been glued to my cartridge slot ever since I got it. I've remodeled my house, the store has been remodeled twice, and I've had a few people (virtual and real) move into my town. The Wi-Fi connection for it is very cool, but it would be nice if you didn't have to get a person's friend code to visit their town.
  22. The problem is they don't have enough princesses. We've got Peach/Toadstool, Daisy, and... 984253[/snapback] Zelda/Sheik.
