  1. There is a HyperFlasher GUI developed by Thunderstruck, an end user of HF32. I believe its cross platform. The purpose of the eInk and on cart controls is that you never need a computer, if you don't want to use one. Except for loading the ROM files onto the SD card. Otherwise a simple terminal program on any platform is all that is needed for development. I'm the designer of the HyperFlash32 cart. Is it over the top? Yeah. Is it fun? For sure. But I'll say I've converted a lot of people who thought the eInk wasn't that great of an idea. If eInk isn't your thing, HF32 also has a lot of developer optimized and focused features that are accessible through command line over USB that are much faster and efficient than the past FlashBoy VB flash cart. Those tools have also been developed by the Thunderstruck of HyperFlasher. Programming times are significantly faster than in the past. Many of the features of HF32 were also end user requested. Personally I nearly dropped the eInk and cap touch stuff because I also thought it was over the top. But I'm very glad I didn't. It's been my most popular and fun project by far. But I can also understand if its not everyone's cup of tea. If anyone has any other questions, concerns, or wants to vent, you can find me at RetroOnyx.com, as well as on the PlanetVB.com Discord channel in the "mellotts-garage" subchannel. I'm also on YouTube under mellott124, if you want to see videos of HF32 working. Thanks!
