Phantasy Star 2 and 3, FF2 and 3 on the SNES, CastleVania III, Gradius V, Vay, and a few others. I do need the money to help make things a little more affordable, so it's gotta go.

That's the spirit, man! No matter how much these Capcom-Hard games kick your ass, keep at it.

I've been curious about whether it would be possible to add NES controller ports (and maybe an FC expansion port) to the FC Mobile II for using real controllers.
-
I've been tired all day. Must not've paid attention.

Got some more stuff up, folks. Though not many have been taking interest lately, would it be a better decision to post this stuff on an auction site? I seriously gotta start getting this stuff sold and moved out of here.

It will be interesting to see how the VC handles emulation of controllers like the Avenue Pad 6 for this game. Otherwise, think of the TurboPad working in a manner similar to the Genesis version: Run/I/II acting as your attacks, and Select switching between punch/kick.
-
The ones I've seen/used are MESS, MEKA (which also does the Master System, Game Gear, and SG/SC series), and BlueMSX. I think BlueMSX is the one that opcode's working with to help develop his games for the Coleco.

Keep it up! I know you can do it!

Yeah, the spider in Centipede on the 5200 is flat out EVIL. On Hard, he gets hyped up like on speed+crack just on the second wave.
-
Speaking of, where's Master Higgins (Toshiyuki Takahashi/Takahashi Meijin) going to work now? Even if his manual rapid-fire skills went down by three shots per second (from 16/s), the guy's been doing a lot still in the gaming industry over in Japan.

Trust me, when I said this remake PUNISHES you for blazing through the original.. I meant it. I shudder at having to fight Hitler on that difficulty..

It can be pretty easy to max out your score in the game. Bad as some people think of it, I still find it a good game to play in short bursts (then again< I also get mild enjoyment out of Pac-Man on the same system).

Just bear in mind, on Super Hard without the armor or lifebar upgrade you're a 2-hit wonder.

I think one of the best out of my collection was Willow for the NES. It brought some nice closure to the game's story, and the music was quite nice for an ending theme. One of the best "Zelda" clones ever made in my opinion.

I definitely have to say that Journey Escape was a game I liked a lot. Then later on (long before TRON: Legacy), I discovered "Separate Ways".
-
I've been watching Classic Game Room's review, and for me it's a LOT like Gauntlet Legends/Dark Legacy from what I see in terms of gameplay. Might have to check it out.
-
Yeah, on the NES if you had the Satellite or Four-Score (and didn't mind the controllers being rotated 90 degrees clockwise) you could play two players with four controllers.
-
Oh, man, Gauntlet II was probably the best one I've played. All of the sounds and voice samples were surprisingly clear for a stock ST, and it had every feature from the arcade original.
-
For the Smash T.V. part, I think using the d-pads of the two controllers also locks the game out of two player mode. Shame, since I think that port came out before the six button controllers did.
-
Yeah, that one's just a smidge easier once the Vector Cannon is obtained.
-
If I'm right, I think Elite's port of "Commando" was quite well-done.
-
Karnov on the NES. After all that hell you go through, it just gives you "Congratulations. The End". Really? No, really?..
-
Is it wrong for me to say that I found the computer version of Ultima III harder AND easier than the NES port at the same time?
-
Yeah, grenades have about the same power as the bazooka.
