  1. Any place in North America to buy them? All I found are in Europe...
  2. Does the AVG Cart requires extra memory to run prince of Persia on an Atari 800 XL?
  3. So basically won't work with MyIDE ][? What works? (and consider I am new and don't understand what SIO, AVG or PBI BIOS means). Thanks again, I just want to enjoy that amazing game, not cause controversy or drama.
  4. Thanks, added a video and screen of simcheck to the POP thread, thanks for your great feedback, hope to make it work soon...
  5. Thank you for your quick response. Tried the DD version, and I did a quick video to show the result:
  6. Hello all! I'm a noob on Atari, bought an 800XL some time ago and an AtariMax MyIDE ][ cart. It works great and can load a lot of games and enjoy the great 8 bits world. As an old apple II user, I love Prince of Persia, and learned about the remake for Atari. It looks amazing, and want to try that. After reading a lot, found that adding memory to my 800XL would allow me to run the game. After buying a memory expansion (320k RAM memory upgrade that plugs into the Parallel Bus port). Tested with Simcheck and shows the extra memory. Loaded the "AtariMax" version CAR into my Card, and ran it. I get an error, "File exceeds maximum allowed size". Has somebody been able to run POP with a similar setup? As a noob, any help would be appreciated, remember I am not versed in the system at all. Thanks in advance and looking forward to comments. Jav

  8. Howdy, new in here, want to ask for some help if I may: I am new in the platform and got an Atari 520ST from a friend, just the CPU. Searched online and found the schematic for the power and bought the DIN, connected to the 2 5+, +12, -12 and grounds. When connected smelled burnt and saw a little white smoke. Disconnected immediately and later realized the schematic was backwards, and was not the cable, so I basically switched the cables. Feeling bad but looking for guidance on how to find the burnt or faulty components to replace. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Jav
