  1. Thanks for sharing! I just ran the program and it truly has 1MB RAM. One more question - because currently I have a monochrome monitor, I cannot run many color games. If I make a cable for VGA/Composite monitors that connects to the 13 pin DIN connector, would it be able to know that I plug in a color monitor?
  2. Thanks everyone for your input. I just confirmed that the "cartridge" is a ComputerEyes/ST video digitizer. I was able to capture the image from my apple iigs - it looked a little burry but it worked! It's also good to know my memory is more than 512K ?
  3. Hi everyone, new Atari ST owner here. I recently obtained a full set of Atari 520 ST (computer + SM124 monitor + SF314 floppy drive) in very good condition. The seller also included an unknown cartridge in the sale. It has an attached power supply and an RCA socket. See photos below: The power supply should output 12V DC and my multimeter measured about 14V so I guess that's okay. I tried hooking up this thing to the 520ST and plug in the composite cable from my TV but it did not work. I also tried connecting it to the RF port of the TV and it didn't work either. I then cracked it open and took some pictures. I hope someone can help identify this "thing". btw, how do I know if the computer has ram expansion? I ran a program called "Home Accounts2" and this is what it showed - does the "Free Memory" mean anything?
