  1. I wouldn't underestimate Videopac (Odyssey2) Chess. The C7010 Chess module is basically a complete Chess computer and uses the G7000 (Odyssey2) just as input/output device basically. Would be great if goldenband could play that too. I'd be very curious how it compares to VCS and Intellivision Chess.
  2. Nope. And I already replied to that in this thread: http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/196897-9-retroboerse-fur-klassische-videospiele-im-ruhrgebiet-1252012/#entry2647789
  3. Great stuff, that's gonna be a great Christmas present for myself Would be fantastic if I could have it in my hands for Christmas. One thing: An Atari collector friend of mine would like to have one too, so please put me in for two instead of one (I am already on your list). Many thanks!
  4. Marc, did you send me any info regarding payment? I didn't receive a message from you. Please resend.
  5. I think I had 16 SLM804 laser printers (2 left), about 50 drum kits for the SLM605 (a dozen or so left), maybe 100 CX78 joypads (I am going to keep the few I still have), maybe 100 CX24 joysticks (will keep the few I still have), more than 1000 Comlynx cables (still have a few hundred if anyone is interested), a few games (low quantities, nothing rare, nothing left) ... I think there was more but I just cant remember, that was like 15 years ago. My collector friend had some other items too.
  6. Well, I checked shipping costs to USA - would be around 100 Euro ...
  7. Again, that depens on your interpretation. I collect so many systems that I just don't have the space to collect variations. I am always trying just to get the first release, PAL if possible, because I live in Europe. But I see your point - if someone collects only Atari 2600 for example, it might be an idea to collect variations too.
  8. Many people (me included) don't collect variations, so you can't say "this is far from being complete". On high voltage's definition (and mine) it's complete -1. It depends on how you interpret "complete".
  9. Great! I have 9 CIB (all PAL), 5 cart only (looking for boxed ones), missing 3 (Wing War, Solar Storm, Shootin' Gallery).
  10. Sorry for digging out this old thread. Does anyone know why the reproducers decided to go with the red label style? Wasn't Bugs Bunny supposed to be a kids game in the style of Snoopy And The Red Baron?
  11. Dammit Marc, I have spent too much money recently on retro games. Of course I want one!
  12. Nächste Retrobörse: Samstag 8. Dezember in Wien!! http://www.retroboerse.de/wien.htm
  13. I'm too late, but please put me on the waiting list if someone should not pay.
  14. In the late 1990s I bought the remains of the Atari warehouse in Rotterdam, together with an other Austrian collector. Most of the stuff has already sold out over the last decade, but I have still a new in box Atari SLM 804 laser printer here. I kept that one for my collection, but I will never use it and it takes a lot of space, so I am thinking of selling or trading it. I have printed a test page back then but apart from that the printer is unused, brand new in box. The printer is very heavy, so shipping would be pretty expensive probably, however I would be willing to ship it world wide. But it might be more interesting for people in middle Europe probably (I live in Austria). Anyway, just checking the interest here and I have really no idea how much it could be worth. Thanks.
  15. But why would they pack NTSC games that were intended for sale in the US, in multilingual European boxes with multilingual European manuals, with Atari Germany stickers on them?
  16. If all those NTSC games really run on PAL machines (with false colours of course), that might be a possibility. Maybe there was an overproduction of NTSC carts. But in that case I don't understand why they would care to put the "N" sticker on the boxes when they sold those games in Europe.
  17. Yes, I thought of that too. But I think if they didn't give damn, they hadn't put the "N" sticker on the box.
  18. I got a Jungle Hunt yesterday in exactly the same style. The box has 6 languages on it and the manual has 5 languages in it, like the standard PAL releases. But the top flap of the box has also that "N" sticker, so probably NTSC. Funny thing - the same as with Andre's Jungle Hunt - the shrinkwrap had the sticker with the address of Atari Germany on it. Why would they make this? One (adventurous) idea: They made that style for the US Army troops in Germany back then. But I doubt that the demand was big enough that it would pay off ... Or maybe Atari just didn't care anymore at that time and used what they had. Makes still no sense though, because if they would sell those games in Europe, the cart wouldn't run on many TV sets and Atari had a massive claim problem. Or Atari Germany produced those for the US market. Atari USA would send the carts to Europe and here they put them in a Euro style box. Why would they do that? No idea ...
  19. Looks great! Would be fantastic if I could have the device in my hands before Christmas, because our company is closed 3 weeks from Christmas on, so I'd have enough time to play with my XL
  20. Home Entertainment Suppliers Well, except for My Golf HES didn't have any original games, so I don't collect those and that's why they are not in the list and the Atarimania database will stay the most accurate PAL database. Thanks anyway!
