  1. @Beeblebrox I noticed that as well! I love it! They're reunited in a way! LOL Incidentally, when I bought mine in 2001 (for $25! with a 1050 and 1030) everything worked great. The keyboard then stopped working over the years while in storage but I was able to bring every key back to life by pressing each key repeatedly and also wiggling each key while pressing them. It took some time and effort, but it really worked well. I love my 800XL (bought new in 1984) and its Alps "type one" keyboard, but the 1200XL's is as good or even a little better. And I love the looks of the 1200XL. It's a classic. My 1200XL had also yellowed quite a bit, but I left it in a window on the south side of my house for a couple weeks and it looks practically new again after some sun exposure. I rotated and flipped it every few days and it really cleared up the yellowing. Odd as I always thought it was UV that caused the yellowing.
  2. Here is mine: Love the look of the 1200XL as well as the feel of its keyboard (when it works). I did most of my gaming and other activity on my 800XL (that I still have), but I just love the design and quirkiness of the 1200XL. Paid $25 for it along with a 1050 and 1030, all working perfectly, and tons of software back in 2001 and I thought I overpaid. I miss those days!
  3. This worked great. Thanks for the tip. Where are these settings stored if one is not using an SD card?
  4. I was able to use the FNET.COM utility to connect to my regular network with the tilde password, but as soon as I restart the FujiNet, it reconnects to the guest network. Is there any way to make the FNET.COM command stick, or is that always temporary?
  5. I just got a FujiNet 1.6 and am amazed at its capabilities. Hard to believe our 40 year old computers can now access the internet and our local networks. Unfortunately my WiFi password contains a tilde (~) character, which of course ATASCII lacks. I am using my guest network temporarily while I try to figure out how to get around this issue without having to change my password. I have around 60 devices on my network, mostly smarthome stuff, and it would be a real hassle to have to reconnect all of them due to changing the password. But my guest network of course limits the usefulness of the FujiNet since it blocks any access to local network devices (printers, etc.), and also prevents accessing the local FujiNet web interface. I know that the delete/backspace character is ATASCII's equivalent to ASCII's tilde, but in order to enter it you have to press ESC before delete/backspace, which cancels the password entry process. I know in URLs you can use %7E as an equivalent to the tilde, but passwords are a different animal. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get around this? Any way to load an alternate character set within FujiNet? Is it possible to enter the password as a hexadecimal equivalent? Thanks for any help or ideas. Brian
