  1. If you put that much effort into making a cab, at least finish the job with an arcade joystick.
  2. OMG, I didnt know I was missing this by not coming regularly.
  3. Texted the guy, looks like only 4 SONY PGM-200R2U left.
  4. On a lighter note. There are a dozen Sony PVM 29" in Dallas. I'll try to pick one up next time I am up there. http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/ele/4891894736.html If anyone in dallas can get them before they are all spoken for it would be great.
  5. If you like the original, you may like the update from kjmann with trackball support. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/153352-centipede-arcade-5200-xex-file-trakball-support-by-atlantis-games-group/ looks like the link is gone or the 7800 with trackball support http://atariage.com/forums/topic/71780-trackball-test-program-centipede-tb/
  6. Wasnt there one for sale in the forum?
  7. They were included in the initial shipment. Many were thrown away because it was place between the 2 cardboard pieces and looked like only reinforcement to protect the cartridge.
  8. I got a Taihaho tape drive from Toys R Us. Then a 1010, 1050, ATR8000 w/ 3 quad drives, and Finally an XF551 during the 80s
  9. I dont see a price on the page. Also saw a 8Mb one on the page. Not very useful page to submit an order.
  10. Or depending where you are at, do a straight trade for a NTSC 800xl
  11. I never used 99 controllers, but my Intellivision 2 controllers killed my thumbs and index fingers everytime i used them.
  12. Can we get a Robotron like controls where we can aim seperately from directional movement? Would that make the game too easy?
  13. Does it have highlights for other languages? I have never heard of ConTEXT before. I use UltraEdit since it has highlights for SQR and Peoplecode. I saw SQR on the link provided.
  14. I had a Taihaho tape deck for a few months before the 1050. I didnt include the 410 since my uncle owned that with his 400 computer.
  15. Tell patient, playing Defender will cause premature spacebar failure.
  16. That is from the adhesive. I have not seen one without the discoloration since the 80s
  17. You are better off seeing if you can get Ram 320XL upgrade from ctirad. It should cost about the same as a 1064. It is the best way to u/g a 600xl.
  18. wow, we even have a user here. My brother doesn't have any free time to mess with the Atari. He has 3 kids. I have those disks somewhere at my parent's house. I would have to do some digging.
  19. wow, I just notice the address. I will be in that area in a couple days. I'll stop and take some pictures.
  20. I just ordered 3 A+. I know I will use one to build a bluetooth/wifi gate opener. The other one I will build into a arcade joystick panel to play some old school game on games on mame. I got the 3rd because it made the order free shipping. I will figure something out for it.
  21. I had an old Carina 2 bbs using an ATR8000 and quad floppies
  22. I have some old Quad density 5.25 drives. I may just go with a couple 3.5" drives. just dont know yet since I would need to buy the floppy controller and 32K memory. Might just get the nanoPEB instead. I found out the monitor cable works with my 600XL, but has no color since it is a PAL system. I have been degaussing the monitor, but may not be too effective since the color shift seems to be caused by the monitor speaker. Wasnt expecting the monitor, but I did need a small color monitor. I love the size. One thing I noticed, Chris' wife seemed happy that I was taking off his hands. My wife on the other hand was not too happy, but I had just repaired our HP 8150DN and saved us near $200 so she could not argue with my hobby since it produced savings. also, hard to argue with free.
  23. Atari 7800 and 8 bits. Only came in here because Chris was giving away 99 computers n Pebs. Now I have more things to buy. Thx Chris Now with a full setup, I dont have much excuse to not get in TI 99s. I have not touched a 99 since 81 or 82. I grew up with Atari XL XE and an Apple IIc.
