Hey bones, I have been looking at it the system you sent me. I could get it to work a little. I adjusted the Pot. to get the color to blue. I also tried a few carts. I have included screen captures of what I got. Sounds work ok. I could not press Start Select or Option. The keyboard worked on BallBlazer. Also got some sound in Asteroids. Now, I am guessing that the GTIA that is bad. It looks like games based on modified ATascii graphics are the only ones that work somewhat. I'll take a look this weekend at removing the chip. All the chips are soldered. The system I had, the 6502 and Antic were socket. Also this give me time to soak up some input from everyone.

Actually I had some of the originals Transformers. I have Omega Supreme and Skyfire and a bunch of the regular Autobots. My bro had most of the regular Decepticons.

I 2nd the SIO2PC cable. It makes life easy.

I have not use Print Shop in 18 years, but I believe it only prints to a Parallel printer. From memory, I think I tried on my XMM801 and it did not work. I used my Star NX1000 connected to a P:R connection. I remember reading this in Antic Here was some info on a solution. I never found out if this was ever finished. I got the Star and the ICD P:R connection instead of waiting. Oops, spoke too soon. There is a solution. Looks like B&C has stock. Look for part # ATD741

XEGS with 1Meg of ram and at least the traces for a SIO2PC. If that thing gets made, I alone will probably buy 2-4 systems. If they can make it with a 65C816 cpu or at least allow for adding one of your own, I would be all over it. Knowing Curt, we can expect a little something extra. Remember, this is a what you would want in a FB3 tread so no poo pooing my dreams

Yes, I was going to do that, but if I can get the switchbox for a few bucks I would not mind. If I will have to mod it, I would have to wait until I get the parts.

switchbox I was looking to bid on this, but the final price was higher than what I paid for the whole package(4port 5200 with trackball, 3 controllers, and 4 common carts with 130xe and disk drive). My question is how much do just these switchboxes run? I was just looking to get the 5200 running. Especially since I got 5200 MULE.

I saw that last week. I don't play 2600 games so I was not very interested. Will that cabinet hold 7800 carts? If so, I may give him a call. League City is about 10 miles away.

Looks like she has made the comments private and I can't read them. Also it looks like it gets worse. I would not wait if you bought way back in Dec. to reverse the charges. What is the time limit for CC and paypal to dispute? I assume between 30 and 60 days.

That alone makes it worth doing. Does it work with a MyIDE cart?

I can attest to that. I just got my 2 cables from atariauctions yesterday. My Jag had a bad RF connection. It looked like scrambled porno. Now, the picture is crystal clear.

Map Why didnt you guys just meet up and trade them. Your 2 respective location looks like they are only 24 miles apart.

My worst experience so far is someone offering an item in trade that is worth less than the price of shipping for my item.

My favorites were Empire and the Star Trek one where you command you own starship against other players on the board.

Really? I just tried to fix my XEGS and socketed every 40pin chip. I only did that to ease troubleshooting. I found out the system had a bad PIA chip. It starts now, but now games run irraticly and the Keyboard and sound does not work. I will be checking the Pokey socket again.

I like this feedback from someone that did not care they would get a retalitory neg. I wonder if they ever respond after they get a good feedback. I know they would have no reason to after they get a pos feedback. They would never get bad feedback if the customers gives him good feedback first before resolving issues. I would neg the guy if he keeps this up, but you will have to decide if its worth a retalitory neg.

If you have another SIO cable, try changing that out first.
