Last night, I thought I'd found my way into the wonderful world of Atari 8-bit. I won this auction on eBay: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 110716791442

 

Soon after the auction ended, the seller told me that he couldn't get the 130xe to output video anymore. We decided to cancel the transaction, but I was sorry to miss out on what seemed like a good deal. I was really interested in the SIO2PC, too.

 

I agree with others. looks like a person that did not like bids received and backs out with a "loft fall" story after bidding ends.

This was what I always wanted with the MyIDE cart. Skip the IDE and make it straight to CF. I wondered why one was never made.

UPS from US to Canada tend to have brokerage fees that would kill the deal. Better off sending it USPS.

 

They add it on and make the receiver pay so too late to change mind too.

These are the boards I use(1 looks familar?). I have always thought that there should be a MyCF+Flash cart. Just been to lazy to do the wiring. I had to mod one to supply 20pin voltage to the CF card.

I have picked up a mint in box 400 for $5 off craigslist. I can usually find them for $20 on ebay within a lot of something I am looking to buy anyway. my best pickup was a 400 with aftermarket keyboard, 48K and omnimon for $40. Only the keyboard was obvious, but the rest was not listed on the ebay listing. I have enough 400s now. But if a good deal presents itself, I'll pick it up.

I recommend the Taihaho cassette player. It worked for me all those years ago.

I am sorry to say I have lost 2 of 4 packages sent to Italy. the third got returned. I so 1 of 4 delivered does not give me much confidence in Italian postal system. I have shipped to Albania, Poland, and a few other eastern European countries and had no problems. My problem is I have no way of separating the orders from all European orders. So I ship it and hope it makes it.

 

The only worse country I have for delivery in Brazil. I only ship Express and the customer now has to pay extra for that.

My wife is in training. She can handle a soldering iron, but not on motherboards.

Probably an Axlon Ramcram or similar card. It is in the middle ram slot so it is probably a 32K card. I would not pay too much just because of it. Now if the last slot was populated, it may be worth checking out.
