Made out of Oak? Damn that's going to cost a fortune to ship. Oak's freaking heavy.
The $18 for shipping would be a bit low then?
I do not like the exposed screw heads. If they put this much effort into the case, they should have done it right.

And if those 4164s in the base-ram bank say MT on them, you will probably end up replacing them sooner or later. So if you go through the trouble of socketing the base-ram bank, grounding all the pin 1s is not a bad thing, in case you end up sticking 41256s in there in the future.
I would do what Ken says. The MT ram is pure crap. I have 4 130xes and they all act ok. bBut when you really start using them, they start to flake out. Since you are replacing the ram anyway. I would dump all MT chips.

I am shocked you missed it. I think I paid less than $50 shipped on ebay. I only got it because the case and keyboard was in such good condition. Only when I got it did I notice the 1200 badge.
when you bought it? this year ?
I think I got it 2006 or 7. I do not remember. I know it was from eBay though.

My 1st was a 600xl at $49.99 in summer of 1984 from Consumers Exchange in SF.

Damn. I might have to sell my copy.
That the asking price. I wonder how many are really selling.

I see I am not alone in being a former shopgoodwill shopper. Price are too high. Not worth my time to look anymore.

answering that question will get probably make you want to buy more.

Because you can still game on with Intellivision long after the 5200 controller poops out.

IMO - the most serious flaw with the design of the Intellivision, Colecovision, 5200 & 7800 controllers were not the discs, or sticks. It was where they placed the firing buttons. No way in hell can you expect as good of rapid fire succession, let alone long playing sessions with such an idiotic setup. Well, at least some games had you firing from the keypad. That scheme helped out a bit.
How about the pain from pressing the fire buttons in the Intv2. My thumbs and index fingers were always numb.

Here is a link to the shipping limits for different categories. It looks like Video Games/ Vintage Games should have a $6 limit. Listing under Video Games / Systems has a $15 limit which seems quite low, depending on zone. If you are selling a system with games and list in Video Games/ Wholesale lots / Console Systems, the limit is $50. I see some single systems with games listed this way currently, so I don't think it would have to be multiple systems.
Looks like multiple system lots will not show up as often.

I just mean in comparison to a standard 2600 joystick? They look interesting.
They are a bit flimsier and lighter than a std CX-40. I have one from back in the day. we bought it because it was cheaper than the Atari ones. I remember I did not like the button design too much.

I know I've been absent for a while (as you know I've moved to Florida), but hit an unexprected snag: it looks like I'm about to lose my job, and the job that I had planned on going to down here doesn't look like it's going to work out. So I will be absent for a little while longer while I figure out what I'm going to do.

That is sucks. It is not a good time to be out of a job. I hope good luck for you, Bob.

How much was it shipped to you. I should have gotten this before the dollar became weak against the euro

If I'm not mistaken there are two A8 versions Dig Dug; the 1982 original (in a brown label cartridge) and a later version (gray label cartridge). Is one considered better than the other? And how do they compare with the 7800 version?
Both versions had the brown labels. I assume the grey label would have the later version.

It looks like SDX would fit in 8Mbit cart so Steve would price it at $45 shipped. Still a heck of a profit if it is the flash cart.
-
Wow, $35 profit for the seller is a bit much. Steve would probably sell it for you at $30 shipped and SDX installed.

eBay Auction -- Item Number: 280591628534
If this keeps up, Ikari Warriors won't even be a 5. It'll be a 2 or 3. Sell em while you can before the price falls even more.
Soon, they will sell it by the master carton then the pallet.

The gameplay is spot-on. I am improving, and I have made a decision within 2 minutes. I am buying this cart.
After PMC and Defender Arcade, I decided I would buy anything Bob put out. I have not been disappointed. I love that he releases the roms for play on a CC2. Everyone of the carts I got stay in its packing, but I do check that they work. Defender Arcade did not load. Bob sent out a replacement when I shipped back the cart to him. This was 4 months after I had gotten it.
Like you, I have not downloaded it yet. It probably because I do not have a paddle handy.

I got a pair of XE Game Systems, both with internal MyIDE interfaces and memory cards filled with software, and I gave one to my niece and one to my nephew.
What software did you install on the CF card? I was thinking of doing the same for my nieces and nephew.

I've seen much more common Indus GTs go for over $100 (plus shipping) when they include the worthless (other than for "completeness") plastic case they originally shipped with. No less crazy.
Both of mine were $40 shipped. $100 is crazy.
-
Have not powered it up and will not?
-
Ah, but you see they are dodging me when I ask them to ship it back for a refund.
Have you offered to send a prepaid shipping label?

Why do people think you are a thief if something is a few days late?

Cross border and only 2-3 weeks? My package stayed in customs 21 days last time I shipped and tracking showed it. It was not the holidays either. 1 month is typical for all regular shipments to Canada. Sad thing is I can no longer offer regular shipping to my Canadian Amazon customers. Over half my negs were from them because of First Class mail being held at Canadian Customs. If my Canadian customers want to use Amazon, they will get it Express Mail. I could use Priority, but the savings do not justify the aggravation. My FCM to Europe is faster!

I have to agree this time of year everyone is impatient because they are buying gifts. I have many orders from Thursday- Sunday that most likely expect it by Christmas, but Amazon clearly states to be guaranteed they have to have bought it by 12/17. I will see how many complaints I get this year from the weekend orders.
