Question on selling collections
Jubal replied to n8littlefield's topic in Classic Console Discussion
for price checking, look up on half.com it isnt any good for atari, but NES/Genesis/SNES/N64 are all covered fairly well, with a few missing titles amazon has a fair amount of listings, but is organized poorly -Jubal- -

this guy helped me out with a project once http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v724/cas...intendo%20MODS/ lights, windows, and paint are the most common mods i see. -Jubal-

I don't want to discourage your modding in the least , but the NES Advantage is a high quality stick, a real pleasure to use. The Advantage is fairly common and tough as nails.

The NES 4 player attachment was called 4Score, and a game had to be designed to take advantage of it. the game like RC pro am that is 4score compatible is "Super Off Road". other 4score games that get play at my place are Gauntlet 2 and M.U.L.E.

so i hit my local second hand shop, and they have a fairly decent looking 4 switch 2600 sitting on the shelf, no power supply. I turn it over and it says made in sunnyvale, i had thought all the 4 switchers were made in hong kong. turns out i found a Atari VCS - CX2600A Promotional Console for $5. =) still need to test it tho. -Jubal- -
not that i got one back retail days but Star Control 2 made me buy a 3do heh -Jubal-

Best place to get Gamebits screwdrivers?
Jubal replied to youarefree's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Awesome, go on believing that. I made almost $700 last year selling "game bits" to people who didn't know where/how to look for them. what do i ask for at my local hardware store, I know they dont know what gamebit is, but what is the right question? =) -
crap i guess i still didnt know this.... time to go digging back in the sega box heh -Jubal-

its funny cause i had the exact opposite situation in my house... my mom would refer to my atari games as tapes, and it would annoy me to no end hehe "geez mom! there CARTRIDGES! I dont think i refered to em as 'carts' back in the day, i kinda remember being suprised by the reference when i started collecting again.

my find today at the second hand shops was a Timex Sinclair 1000 paid $2, has manual, box, styrofoam, powersupply, RF cable and switch it looks nice and minty. My family bought one of these around 1985, bust have been on discount. it was our first "computer". the thing uses a casette deck as a memory storage. never could get the thing to run the chess program that came with it beyond 3 or so moves heh I need to hunt down a software library for it, I imagine (hoping) it can be had somewhere in mp3 format the thing is so small, it looks like it was created to be made portable... gonna surf Ben Heckendorn's site for some ideas -Jubal- -
after a little googlin, i found the FZ-21S1 http://sflynn.info/fz-21s1.html http://assembler.roarvgm.com/Panasonic_m2/panasonic_m2.html does the FZ-35S1H1-M use the same software as the FZ-21S1? -Jubal-
