  1. Thanks for the feedback. The $25 Halo light on Ebay includes the shipping. There's another one on Ebay for $19 including shipping. I guess my question is - excluding the cost - is the Halo light a good product?
  2. I'm not a big platformer fan but this game looks like something I might enjoy. It is definitely on my purchase list. Thank you for making it available.
  3. I will definitely get a copy of this when it's released. Baseball Heroes was okay - the homerun derby is my favorite part of the game. I'm hoping Relief Picture is a more enjoyable game. Thanks for making this game available.
  4. I brought Lexis to JagFest 2001 and asked Carl Forhan from Songbird to show me how to enter the code. It took him several attempts to do it. I have only been able to get it to work correctly a few times. It seems you need to find the sweet spot when entering the code. I'll have to give it a try and see if I can get it to work. Sorry I don't have a magic answer that makes getting the code to work any easier.

    Dreadnaught Factor

Go to Collector's Cards and Games website. They have Dreadnaught Factor (cartridge only) for the 5200 for $7. With shipping, it would probably come to $10 - $12. www.collectorscardsandgames.com
  6. Has anyone here used the Halo Light for the GBA? If so, what are your opinions on it? They're available for about $25 on Ebay and I'm curious whether or not they are worth the price. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  7. This past Friday I picked up the following Playstation One games from my local Disc Replay store: Area 51 Gunfighter The Legend of Jessie James Both games are complete and cost me $1.99 each.
  8. With all of the 8-bit to 5200 convertions that have happened, is it possible to convert Karateka to the 5200? I think the control scheme would be similar to the Black Belt proto-type. Any thoughts?
  9. Is it possible to use the Trak-Ball controller with the Decathlon game? I don't have either but was just wondering.
  10. If controller 1 and the light gun work, could this mean the problem is more likely controller 2 and not the system? How much would shipping be? I live in Naperville, Illinois 60565. Thanks.
  11. I purchased the FC Mobile II NES handheld from Amazon back in April. Everything works fine with it except controller 2. Is there a way to sync up the controller? The system did not have an instruction manual. Any suggestions?
  12. Here's a quick update. After a bit of a search I now have three controllers for the Magnavox Odyssey. One I purchased from Mike at Collectors Cards and Games for $20. The other two came from the person I originally bought the system. I had stopped by their house about two weeks ago asking if they could locate the missing controllers. Last Friday they called stating they found them. I now have a near complete Magnavox Odyssey system.
  13. ******Available on July 31st, the Jaguar 64-Bit Preservation Pack will be limited to an initial run of only 100 copies and will receive a simultaneous launch both online and at the B&C Computervisions booth at CGE2K10. Since the press release says a limited initial run of 100 copies, does that mean more might be made available when demand exceeds supply?
  14. Thanks for the suggestions. My solution for removing the screws without striping the heads was to heat the screws with a soldering iron. This seemed to melt whatever was holding them and they came out. My next question is what size capacitor do I need to fix the audio problem? Some online tutorials say the capacitor needs to be 47uf 50v. A youtube video by 2-Bit gaming says you can use a 47uf 35v capacitor. Which one is correct or does it matter? The 35v is available at Radio Shack for $1.19. I can get 10 of the 50v for $2.69 plus free shipping on Ebay. Thanks.
  15. I got a really good deal on a Magnavox Odyssey system at a garage sale recently (the one that uses overlays on the television screen). I'll post more on the Official Thrift Shop tread later. Unfortunately it didn't come with any controllers, just the rifle. Does anyone know where I can get replacement controllers for the system? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  16. I can get the security screw off using needle nose pliers. It's the regular screws I can't get off. I have the right size screw driver for the screws but they won't turn. I'm afraid if I use too much force I'll strip the heads and they'll be stuck forever. I want to replace the sound capacitors on this system. The screen is fine I would just like to hear something coming out of the system. I can easily open my other Gamegear system but it needs the capacitors replaced for the screen and the sound. That's a bigger and more expensive project than I wnat to tackle right now. Any suggestions on how I can open the problem screw system? Does anyone know in the Naperville, Illinois area where I can find the capacitors to fix the sound problem? Radio Shack has capacitors but not the right ones. Thanks.
  17. Will Life Line work with just a microphone or does it need the complete headset? If the microphone alone will work with it, will any game that uses the headset work with just the microphone? Thanks
  18. Besides singing games, what other Playstation 2 games use the microphone? The Playstation 2 system I recently bought at a garage sale came with a microphone. Are there any good non-singing games that use the microphone? Thanks.
  19. Gamewinners.com has the following level select code for the Xbox version of Justice League Heroes: Pause game. Hold the L & R triggers. Enter the following moves on the D-pad: Up(2),Down(2),Left,Right,Up. Unfortunately, the site also has a 20 shields code that uses the first four D-pad moves as the level select code: Up(2), Down(2). Everytime I try to use the level select code, the game just recognizes the 20 shields code. Anyone ever get the level select code to work? Do I have the right code? Thanks.
  20. On Saturday while taking the dog for a walk, I picked up the following: First Garage Sale: PS2 Slim Version Silver with 1 dual shock controller and microphone - $25 The AV cable didn't work (video no sound). Luckily I have an AV cable for the Playstation One. Last Garage Sale: GBA Lego Star Wars cartridge $2
  21. This was from a UK Ebay auction. It's been at least 4 or five years since a bought it but I would guess I paid less than $10 for it. I think there's another UK Ebay auction right now for one going for $7.25 including shipping.
  22. What size security bit do I need to open the cartridge - 3.8 mm or 4.5 mm? I don't have one and want to make sure I buy the right one. There are some on Ebay for around $5 with free shipping. I've cleaned it the best I can from the outside. The Q-tips don't show any dirt or discoloration. When I get the cartridge open, what should I been looking for to determine what could be the problem? Thanks.
  23. A while back I won an Ebay auction for a PAL copy of Mortal Kombat for the Sega Master System. I have never been able to get it to work on my system. I have two other PAL games (The Flash and Jurassic Park) and they both play fine on my NTSC system (version 1). When I try to play the Mortal Kombat cartridge, I get a message saying to please turn off the system and insert a game cartridge. This was an overseas auction and even though the seller offered to refund my money if I returned the item, I passed because the return shipping was more than the refunded purchase amount. Any ideas on how I can try and get the game to work? I have cleaned it several times. Thanks.
