I believe the page you linked to actually has this information in it. Says 1 hour of playtime on a full charge depending on how often you change carts and takes about 3 - 4 hours to recharge back to full.

 

I was hoping someone who actually used the item could confirm the playtime and recharge times that were mentioned in the linked page. Should have made my request more clear.

New developments, Finally we got a mass produced sample! It surprised me yesterday on the mail! This PCB actually fits a lot better on the console (our past one fit a tiny bit tighter than normal and I didn't like it).

 

I know I said we weren't going to take preorder, but we just might this time. However, We have mostly everything done, Games are tested, Art remastered, as soon as we put together the packaging we'll open these for preorder to see about how many pieces we need to make. Should ship out within a month or so after preorder placed.

 

Also, for our international buyers, we got a deal with the USPS and we got a slight discount on international shipping. So now our rates are going to be a bit better (not a huge discount) but every bit helps.

 

Our Retail price per game will be $55 each title, but you will be able to buy both for $105 total + shipping.

What I'd do (and suggest anyone with more time than me do) is to grab some sprites from here https://www.spriters-resource.com/neo_geo_ngcd/, then find the sounds, and then code something up in RB+. Anything. Rather than speculate, go do it. Much more productive than telling those who are intimately familiar with the system what it can or cannot do. If you can put together complex music using mod trackers philipj, you'll cope with Basic programming easily. I'm far from a great coder (mostly self-taught), yet I teach it, and have done so for nearly 20 years. If I can, anyone can.

There will be plenty of carts available after the event. I don't see any availability problems ahead as the SD cart owners are most likely satisfied with the binary.

 

I did also receive a few emails about bugs and logical flaws in the game. The binary on the cart will be slightly different.

I have the original Supaboy and have played the following FX chip games without issue:

The only real issue I had with it is when I used the Game Genie cartridge. The system needed to be plugged into an outlet even if the battery was fully charged. Otherwise all I would get is a blank screen when I turned it on.

I'm not sure what you mean here. Raptor basic or plain basic source? In general, rb+ is a basic dialect so there's a lot of compatibility between it and other basics.

 

One thing you need to be warned though is that since it's mostly targeted in interfacing with raptor for graphics, it's lacking some functionality here and there.

 

Plain basic source was what I was asking about. I think my best course of action is to really dig into the tutorials and learn the in's and out's of RB+ instead of converting plain source basic to RB+ basic.
