  1. Picked up 24 The Game for the PS2 complete at Disc Replay for $3.99.
  2. Picked these up at a church garage sale for 50 cents each. It was the second day so everything was half off. The Wii game is complete and the disc looks very good. The book looks like no one ever read it.
  3. I know not everyone is a fan of reproduction games, but since these were of unreleased games (and they were on sale) I picked up these from a vendor on Etsy.com: Sega Dreamcast Geistforce - comes with a case, case artwork and printed label on CD - $9.99 Atari Jaguar Barkley: Shut Up and Jam - labeled cartridge with UGC - $29.99 Atari Jaguar CD Brett Hull Hockey - comes with a case, case artwork and printed label on CD - $9.99
  4. Not sure if this has been posted before but I thought people would find it interesting. The reviewer's biggest concern is the lack of smooth action.

Sure, they'd offer it when I don't have money and payday's just a few hours after the coupon expired.

  6. Didn't realize there was an older thread already discussing this. Just saw this on Yahoo news and thought it was just being announced.

  8. Thanks Travis. As a longtime Jaguar owner (since 1994 for the Jaguar and 1995 for the CD attachment), this is the first game to give me a problem. Recent purchases (Songbird's Protector SE and Piko's Switch Blade) both loaded fine after I ran into the problem with Xenon.
  9. I recently purchased and received Xenon 2 from AtariAge via Ebay. With the CD unit in place, I can't always get the game to load - all I get is a black screen after the Jaguar logo is displayed. I would say I'm successful getting the game to load about 40% of the time. Game works fine after it loads. I have been in contact with Al and he is aware of the issue. He did ask me to try the game without the CD unit attached. I also plan on giving the cartridge slot for the CD attachment a good cleaning. Searching the forums, it looks like this issue has come up with other games - Towers 2, Flip Out and I-War to name a few. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/234903-towers-ii-not-loading-with-jagcd-attached/?hl=%2Bcleaning+%2Bthe+%2Bcart+%2Bslot Has anyone else had this issue with Xenon 2? Thanks.
  10. I joined the NESmaker forum and posted my question there. Looks like it won't run on an XP machine. http://nesmakers.com/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=228
  11. Atari Lynx - Wyvern Tales (A must buy if you are a Lynx owner.) DS - Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief 3DS - Legends of OZ Dorothy's Return 3DS - Young Justice Legacy
  12. Does anyone know what the minimum system requirements are for the upcoming NESmaker? I watched the FAQ video on YouTube but nothing specific was mentioned. Thanks.
  13. Used Ebay's 20% off coupon to add this to my collection: Xenon 2 for the Atari Jaguar. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Xenon-2-Megablast-Atari-Jaguar-New-in-Box/323263936987?hash=item4b440839db:g:WL8AAOSwLM5bAGfl
  14. Not much at this weekend's garage sales but I picked this up for 50 cents.
  15. I still have my Dell Inspiron 8000 I bought brand new in 2001. Mine has 512mb of RAM and is running Windows ME. The internal clock battery is dead and I have to make sure the main system battery at least has some charge or I get an error when I turn it on. The battery will charge but it gets very hot and doesn't last very long even when fully charged (maybe 10 to 15 minutes). Anyone know how to change the internal battery?
  16. Picked this up over the weekend at Disc Replay for $6.99 complete. It has 14 games so that breaks down to 50 cents a game. The picture was taken with the PSP camera attachment.

    Wyvern Tales

I may go back to the game at a later date and explore it more. I don't believe I ran into any of the bugs you refer to. Can't comment on the Hunt 30 "bug" as I only made it to hunt 10. Congratulations on completing the game.
  18. Recently picked up Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate and have played through about 45% of it. Very nice graphics but since I have a 2DS I miss out on the 3D effects. Good game.
  19. It looks like this Kickstarter is not getting much if any traction which is truly a shame. If it can do what it claims, I can't see an easier way to make a game. Not having to program code and using a drag and drop feature makes it a blessing for those wanting to try their hand at game creation. It removes the biggest problem (at least in my opinion) learning code. One can now focus on level design and graphic/sprite creation and most importantly making sure the game is fun to play. Orion has done a lot for the Jaguar community and deserves better.
  20. Are you any closer to making an announcement?
  21. Took advantage of Gamestop's Pro Day sale on Saturday. Was able to get the following for 20% off: DS - Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer - $1.61 DS - Quantum of Solace - $1.61 3DS - Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate - $16.19 PS3 - Batman Arkham Asylum Gae of the Year Edition - $6.47 PS3 - Mirrors Edge $8.09

    Wyvern Tales

Last night my journey with Wyvern Tales came to an end. It was bittersweet. I am happy to add it to the small list of Lynx games I actually completed (Double Dragon, Dracula and Steel Talons). After spending a few hours every night since it arrived, it will be hard not to fire up the Lynx and continue the journey. The game is quite impressive and well worth the money. The final boss battle did seem to go on forever, but made the final victory more meaningful. For those of you waiting for your game to arrive, believe me it will be worth the wait. For those of you still deciding to purchase the game, take a chance. I don't think you will be disappointed.
  23. Some miscellaneous tips: Have all three members of your group learn the Awake spell. I found this ability to be useful in many battles. Someone could always revive the other two. Keep a good supply of Health and Mana items on hand. You get them sometime after winning a battle, but don't be afraid to buy them. Later in the game you can buy Health + and Mana + which are much more effective. Having these items allowed me to explore further in the game without needing to use a Teleport to return to the nearest town and visit the healing statute. It's also good to use them just before you fight one of the dragons so your team is at full strength. Luckily the game gives you a hint where the dragon battle will take place (there is a marking on the floor). Hope these help.
