1. Impressive!

Love the Video Grow carts, the green Digitel cart and the funky looking Galactica cart (never seen that one before).

I'll update our database with your titles that are not already in it (some 15 carts at first glance).

Thanks Rom Hunter, if you need a better picture of any cartridge, just let me know.

It would be great if you could make raw front scans of your Canal 3 / Intellivision and Cosmovision carts, but I don't know if you own a scanner.

BTW: all titles are added to the database now, except for the Galactica one.

Which game does it contain and what does the end label say?

A very interesting looking cart indeed.

Is it possible to make a better picture of it?

Hello Rom Hunter. It's hard to take a good picture of this cart, with flash terrible, without, bad.

Even with scanner the picture was not so good.

I took some pictures without flash with ambient light:

  3. Hello! It's been a while I don't post here!

I'm just writing to show you an interesting brazilian cartridge by Splicevision!

Splicevision was a brazilian Colecovision clone, but Splicevision also made games to Atari, but with the same case of Colecovision games, they looks like the double-end Xonox games, but with one game, see the picture.

    Regards.

  4. Hi Tom, congratulation, you finally completed!

I'm probably the first to complete this set. Now I know, you, me and E.Luccas with this set complete.

Just some words about those CCE color labes cartridges:

The first CCE Atari brazilian consoles sold came with Mr. Postiman (this is why it's the most easy to find) and after they came with Bobby, and them just some consoles came with the other cartridges. Those cartridges was never sold, they just came with the new consoles, this is why they are too hard to find. I'm not sure, but I remember Bobby and Squirell had boxes, but as I said, I'm not sure, it's a long time ago.. :-)

I expect this helps you all.

    Regards.

Pontual, I knew Luccas had it complete though he never mentioned this to the outer world :) I dont see the point to hide a collection but well I have nothing to do with it :). You and Luccas were the other 2 poeople I mentioned in my mail, I was just not giving names, who knows if you would approve of that. But, despite of that, I thought your collection wasnt complete. I do recall you buying a small lot with Open Sesame lost in the middle, though. It was a lucky buy.

Do you agree with my ratings?

No problem, you can and you must to mention my name :D

Yes, I think you are right with the ratings, Open Sesame and Dancing Plate are the rarest :!:

Anyway, now I'm trying to complete the Tron collection, I already have 16 out of 20 known games.

  5. Announcing here first... I just COMPLETED my CCE COLOR LABEL set. I'd like to shed some light on this 3 year quest... AFAIK, there were only 1 collector who whas this complete set, so I guess I'm the second.

    ...

    My opinion about rarity is:

    Mr. Postman - R1, maybe R2

    Bobby - R3

    Squirell - R4

    Sea Monster - R5

    Space Tunnel - R6, maybe R7

    Mission 3000 - R6, maybe R7

    Phantom Tank - R7, maybe R8

    Open Sesame - R8

    Dancing Plate - R9

  6. I wish I could study some more obscure Atari 2600 games, but AFAIK there aren't any left to study.

    Too bad...

    8)

If there's nothing to study, there's a mystery to solve: how could CCE got those roms (Pizza Chef, A Mysterious Thief,...) ?

  7. Check out www.atariprotos.com for Tempest did a full rundown on the game. ;)

Thank you, I'll check out. I got this cart, and I could not play, I don't know that to do.. I really think it's too strange... :-)

  9. Hi, I just would like to share some pictures of brazilian stuff. I was reading the topif that Sr. Ferraz started, and I liked a lot, so I will also post some pictures of my brazilian stuff.

  10. Dear Rom,

I believe that with these informations the community will know that Brazil manufactured many items for Atari 2600 with great variety.

The company "Dismac" was famous here for the manufacture calculators.

The company "Dynacom" still manufactures items for videogames type "NES".

The company "Polyvox" was very famous for manufacturing equipments of audio.

The "Polyvox" later was sale for the company "Gradiente" that exists until today.

Yes Sr. Ferraz, and Dismac also manufactured Apple compatible computers.

Dynacom still sells Nes consoles! Today you still can buy a incredible "Dynavision 4" brandnew "in a shopping nearest from you" ... :P

  11. Sr. Ferraz,

    > "Video Jogo": Enduro, Keystone Kaper (*), Keystone Kapers (*), Pac Man and River raid.

    > "VCS": Tenis.

    > "Atarimania": Crack Pots, Lost Luggage, Missele Command and River Raid.

    > "Target figure": Atlantis, Enduro and Seaquest.

Hi Helio, nice to see you here. Brazilian stuff is very interesting, keep posting those pictures.

    Um abraço. :-)

  12. Nice, Tom!

Looks like a Colecovision knock-off for the end label font.

    1003010

That makes perfect sense! Splicevision also released "pirate" Coleco stuff in Brazil (even their own console, very funky!).

    Cheers,

    Marco

I also have one Splicevision cartridge for Atari:

  13. I like this game, my record is the 6th level, does anyone passed to 7th or more ?

    995559

I finished it, but only because I hacked the rom to make it a bit easier. In my version touching the sea horses will give you a lot MORE points than in the normal version and you will lose LESS points by touching the octopuses.

I may have made other changes too - I don't recall exactly what I did, it's been too long.

Scott Stilphen once made a great map of the game; I think it's probably online somewhere.

I have attached my hacked rom in case you want to try it out. ;)

Wow! Thank you, I finished the game using that map really great!
