  7. ok, i found it. i downloaded the rom but it doesnt appear in mame. it doesnt even appear in "red" for non working. did i do somthing wrong?

  10. about 10 years ago, they opened up a huge arcade next to massapequa high school. it was the former spot of a gym that twisted sister's frontman Dee Snyder owned. the arcade lasted a couple of years and now its a gym again.

  12. there was another arcade in the busy bee flea market but it wasnt that great. the tri county still has an arcade in its basement but the variety kind of sucks. not too many games left.
  13. Didn't that place close? the mall didnt close. it got bought out by westfield and is now called westfields sunrise mall. time out is now a pet store. i still hear the echoes of quarters dropping when I go in there!

  17. ok, got the lamp out and kept digging and digging and found it! it was hidden behind a tape wire and it was under one of the boards wish me luck wth the battery!
  18. Yes, I kinda knew what to look for (ive changed them in my car stereo remotes!) but I didnt see it. Ill check again tomorrow when its daylight and give it a thourough scan. Ill post up better pics tomorrow.

I love this cab and mame period! my friend, scream and fly told me about mame in 98 but I just couldn figure it out. he and I were big video game geeks and mame was my dream come try. I still cant figure out how they fit the entire game into a tiny little rom! ok, I took a look see at the innards of the cab and I dont know where to find a battery location. heres one view:

  21. ok, heres what it says when I first turn the cab on: you see, I have no idea what the problem is nor do I know how to resolve it. so, I thought I could just easily "ignore" the problem by trying to change the default. but if I can solve this problem, I may not have to change the battery. but changing the battery seems like its a much easier solution.
