  1. Yes, I ordered one when you first started making these screens available. It took a bit getting the zebra connector to connect over the warped plastic but with some shims (as described in your installation instructions) I got it working. I posted a pic some time ago. It's still going strong and with the backlight, it really makes the screen pop.
  2. I would be interested in 2 of these myself
  3. It's been quiet on the front line... Now that the screens are in, how's everyone's mv doing? pics please!!
  4. It's working... IT'S WORKING!!!! I finally got it working but was having problems getting the whole screen to display, it was just showing the outer sides. After a few attempts of repositioning the zebra connector, I was still getting no image in the center of the display. After rereading the instructions, I realized my tray was warped and, just like the instructions say, a couple extra short pieces of painters tape for the middle of the shelf that the zebra connector sits on did the trick. Here you go... Backlight and all!! Thanks for all your efforts Mr. B!!
  5. Thank you for making this happen. Thank you for all your hard work.
  6. ordered!! Can't wait to get this in. As I understand, the backlight will be available for to purchase separately and install later, correct?
  7. $20-$30 sounds about right as my best guess. But RB, you are the man! You have resurrected this project and due to 5-11's silence, you have become invested. Run with this bro, since he want's to go his own way, he'll be playing catch up to you while you ride your momentum wave. I believe pride has gotten in the way of partnering but you hustle and I like that. Don't get discouraged from your great project, I appreciate 5-11 kickstarting this, but it's been too long and we need to see results and you are delivering results. My saliva on the side of my mouth has dried from waiting... Now it's just a race to having stock.
  8. Personally I think you both should work together on this. RB has picked up an almost dead project (no updates on progress) that has been going on for almost 2 years. Now that it's near production, 5-11 is back to create competition in threads and projects? 3 months is quite a while to not reply on a 2 year project, RB was adamant about getting a hold of 5-11 and collaborating with his work, so I don't blame RB wanting to move forward for the greater good of all MV's. We are all glad (for the most part) that this is nearing production and I think you both have contributed to this project and making it actually happen. You both have invested time and money and, I think, you both should work together on this so you don't waste any more time and money and can actually start making some of your money back. Profit over pride, I always say, a few compromises and you both will make history!! <my unsolicited 2 cents> Love you all AA!!
  9. This has been a very exciting thread over the last few weeks. Any new updates?
  10. You can buy it or you can make it yourself for cheap Ingredients 1 cup of 91% isopropyl alcohol. ½ cup of aloe vera gel (natural or store-bought) 15 drops of tea tree oil (or another antibacterial essential oil)
  11. Thanks for the reply. I have seen that one but originally I had what I thought was a bmp file that had every actual screen shot of all 256 levels. I've searched extensively to try and find it again and I have even left a voice mail with Activision's legal dept to see if they respond so I can see if I can get a copy from them. Doubtful at best but again I appreciate your help.
  12. I am looking for an old image that I once had that I can't seem to find online anymore. It was an image of all 255 screens/levels of the original Pitfall! game. It wasn't just the map but it was screenshots of every level. I've turned to AtariAge for help because I can't seem to find this image on my old system and my old links no longer work. I am going to resurrect an old project that I will release freely once completed.
  13. Keeping it alive!! I want my Microvision!! I hope the passion for this project continues. Such a great idea
  14. It's a shame that this hasn't come to fruition. It has been so long now that it seems abandoned.
