Out of curiosity, anybody have a Jag AC adaptor that gets extremely hot if left plugged into the wall? Could this be an isolated problem???

I am hoping to get $200 plus- this figure may be a little unrealistic, but the winner could make a killing selling the "Memory Tracks"... I once had many and was selling them for $35 each. No BIN - thought pics from outside source would help description, thus resulting in better bids (I have no digital camera).

Regret it deeply, I do... I find myself at peace knowing that maybe someone who has never had the pleasure of owning this state of the art (and extremely cool) collection will now own it. Or, maybe- someone will own it who loves the Jag as much as I, and take care of it as I have...

Please know that most of the games still have the plastic seal (although opened) for preservation purposes. All games are complete in box, most even include the "warning" bags that the carts are sealed in...

I must sell my entire Jag collection It has games (notably Total Carnage), and accessories (Brand new memory tracks) Please know the CD player is not included. Please copy/paste this link to view: http://cgi.ebay.com/ATARI-JAGUAR-64-BIT-GA...1QQcmdZViewItem or you can search "Atari Jaguar" on ebay to find it. Thank you for your interest, and good luck in your collecting! -Atarijagplayer

The Jag is by far the best classic NEXT-GEN system. The games are really cool, and most of them have a rockin' sound track (zero 5, and Tempest). Its really fun, but expensive, to collect for. The Jag is also quite durable, My 27" tv fell on top of my base unit/cd combo... The only thing that broke was the clear plastic piece on the CD lid.

I would like to see native. I think the Jag needs another shooter.

Many years ago, before my first Jag/CD combo was stolen- I had a copy of Primal Rage CD. It had the version # appear on title screen. Do all copies display this number?

Which Jag add-on would you most have liked?
atarijagplayer replied to The_Laird's topic in Atari Jaguar
I would have loved to see a surround sound system that came complete with a base cannon. Could you emagine Zero-5 or Tempest!!!! It could have connected to the expansion port. -
BSF is always great to play. I really enjoyed Fever Pitch, and SBO has really great music and colorful graphics. I was really dissapointed with Supercross, crashing every time you go off course gets old really fast.

I would have loved to see this game on jag! A developer by the name of "V-Real" was working on a version for Jag. Too bad "Arena Football League" never did surface..
-
Thanks for the response! The games always play fine after the logo screen. Maybe it is because I use a hi-def tv.
-
I have an s-video cable for Jag... When I power up the Jag, the "Jaguar" logo does not scale smoothly. The Logo starts to scale, then the screen goes blank, then the logo re-appears. Do I have a bad s-video cable?

Is Checkered Flag any worse than Virtua Racing?
atarijagplayer replied to superjudge3's topic in Atari Jaguar
Believe it or not... I kinda like the challenge of steering... It can be masterd. I thought that "Red Line Racing" (CF BETA) would have been a nicer game- visually. I could give Checkered flag a 7 of 10. Virtua Racing was nice as well.. -

If you read the instruction manual on page 69 - it tells you that in the bonus stage of the game, after you trim your mullet - you can pick up as many grupies as you want. Later in the game, the instruction manual also claims that you automatically pick up that chick from Warrant's "Cherry Pie" music video- after scoring 25,000 points.
