just wanted my 170th post to be under the worlds greatest story.

Well, Lemmi. The store hasn't put them out yet and I have the extra copy of Wabbit right now. I also bought the blue copy of Space Cavern. They had two more copies of Space Cavern Red in very good condition and a decent Mario Bros. I kept one Worm War for myself but I can the other copy. the end label is a bit scratched (not too bad though) and the Flash Gordon was a bit scratched on the end but just on the label bend. If you want to make a deal they sell them to me for 1.95 a pop. So if anyone wants these games tell me now, they won't be behind counters for long. The store is putting them out sometime this week. I could grab some Mash copies if you need them too. Anyone want em. Name a price and their yours! I promise I won't charge you six bucks a game. (oh yeah they had GI Joe grey label but my friend bought it) It was a good day that I won't seefor a long time here.

Holy crap, You need to get some another wire from the store. I had to saw the tip off one end of mine, I couldn't find any with short ends, works great though. (comments on this method? I actually took a wood saw to it, I was quite impatient about the whole ordeal) Then I guess you might head up that favorite of all (ebay recommended) store radio shack and pick up an RF switch. I totally agree with you though, I was going to convert my Atari, but I have no Jr. So I was at a loss as what to do. Any suggestions people?

That is one ugly looking phone, but I bet playing Defender on it beats out that crappy snake game anyday, or how about that incredibly boring matching game. You have no idea how many bored classrooms I was forced to play these games in and they only left me more bored and angry that I wasn't playing Atari!

That was quite a story and the farthest I have ever seen anyone get off topic. No wonder the dude put this topic in twice! Great Story, Hey I'm going to get a beer in about 20 minutes and I haven't eaten all day. I'm guaranteed to be drunk in like one hour. Good god....i'm going to be sick in the morning. Well, here is my morning outting take-in. I spent 20 bucks at the game store. They finally busted out that "special box" they had been hidding. Shootin Gallery Fire Fly Wabbit (2) Space Cavern (2 red/blue) OOPS! Flash Gorden (2) Coconuts Kool Aid Man Worm War 1 (2) Defender II Encounter at L-5 Food Fight (7800) Mash (5) Mario Bros I didn't buy all those extra copies just so you know. Is that a doctored screen? Just kidding. Good Score, I suck hard core at the emulator version, my mouse keeps moving up and down and I get lost on the screen.

My suspicion was that not all systems came with a boxed combat. I think, and don't quote me on this, that later versions of the Atari cae with other boxed games? Therefore you might want a copy of Combat? That sound about right. I think my Atari came with PacMan. I can't really remember. (I like to be as vague as possible)

If anything the emulation was harder. So I don't onsider it cheating. Its all in fun anyway. You should post it, at least nearing 99,000 I really would like to see that. I would also like to know what the secret hidden score word is in dolphin. Anyone get up around 50K points? I really want to know. Keep those Kaboom sticks rockin.

Man, I wish I had Frostbite. Crap. I did manage to get Miner 2049er the other day. So I guess that's good.

As far as the information I have is that it will be centered around this eneral concept, spilling out into other tangents such as Mario's relation to Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and "The Prince" by Machiavelli. I imagine there will be a large amount based on how Mario and Luigi are some tied into Musilini and Dictators in general. It should be very interesting.

Don't expect too high a price tag. (He hasn't decided yet though) I'm expecting it to a serious think piece mixed with a bunch of humor. I was actually surprised to see he was working on it and he hopes to have it completed by the end of the spring break! I was wondering what kind of response this book might have in the Atariage message boards. Hopefully you remember me talking about this book, Russ. I mentioned it in an email to you awhile back and I hadn't talked about it for a long time and bamm! He hits me with this news just last night.

A friend is working on a book entitled, Mario and the Communist Manifesto. I was wondering how much interest there would be in this book.
